Lately, it's become a trend to talk about Carlos as if he only started learning to play tennis well (for some, even to be educated) at 15. As if one coach is the only responsible for his success and for who he is in every aspect. Meanwhile, this was Carlos at age 10 in Murcia. One can acknowledge the work of a coach and give him credit without diminishing the player, who is the one holding the racket and coming back in historic 5: 30 hours finals, as if he didn't exist or have anything to do with his own success or who he is. A world number one, the youngest in history, isn't solely the work of a coach. Is also the work of his family, all his team and people, but above all, it's HIS OWN WORK, his talent, his commitment to his dream, and his constant sacrifice since childhood. This is a truly heartbreaking 💔 video of a partially blind father struggling to survive with his children after life dealt him a devastating blow. Three years ago, his wife left him and their family to marry another man, leaving him to shoulder the burden of raising the children alone despite his visual impairment and extreme financial hardship. Today, he lives in abject poverty, doing his best to care for his children while battling a condition that continues to affect his sight. Part 1: I have never zoomed in on their faces in the last KTV moment. Because I would just cry watching that last video. But I decided to do it today and my heart just broke more. The silence between them was sad but their faces and little thing they do? More sad, more heartbreaking. Yueyue looks like he will cry at any moment, the more he looks at his man the more his nose flares up, the more his fingers play with his Adam's apple, the more he tries to look up and blink each time. And Leizi...I can't make out his eyes but I know it's an unblocking stare at his moon in front of him. The more he looks, the more he anxiously bites his lips, the more he takes big gulps, the more his breathing deepens and the more his chest heaves. Now they are married and having a great time in their beijing apartment with their 3 kids but I cannot imagine what this moment felt for them. And I hope they never feel it again. Only warm cuddles and hugs and kisses to one another. (Part 2 will be me zooming in on the last scene where yueyue sings his heart out~ Don't kill me!)

🚨#BREAKING: A 14-year-old boy is being praised as a HERO after he used his LASSO to SAVE A DROWNING MAN AND DRAG HIM TO SHORE... ...ON HIS FIRST THROW!!! His name is Jory Thomas, he's a 14-year-old from Montana. On July 5, he was camping with his family near Greycliff when a raft and paddleboard slammed into a bridge pillar and threw four people into the river. Three made it out... but one man did not. He kept drifting downstream, clinging to a cooler, the current pulling him away fast. "We all heard, 'Help, help'… and he wasn't saying anything." Jory didn't wait. He emptied his pockets, ran through a waist-deep channel, and sprinted down the riverbank to catch up to him. And this year, for the very first time, he'd brought his lariat. His grandmother Sandy said they've camped at that spot for years and he had NEVER, EVER brought his rope before. "And that day he did." Jory took his 12-foot lariat, aimed at a drowning stranger, and threw. "Luckily, I caught him first try." FIRST throw!!! He roped him and hen he pulled that man through chest-deep water all the way to shore and held on until first responders arrived. His dad and his brothers are on the local fire department.
