This guy is receiving heavy criticism and backlash on Instagram for using his leg to help a puppy that was struggling to climb. This is Marcus, and his accidental service dog, Gunner. Marcus served 3 deployments to Afghanistan. For years, he’s woken up at 3am, drenched in sweat, convinced he’s in back in Kandahar. Gunner came to the family when his owner passed away, which was a neighbor of Marcus. On the first night they had him, Marcus had a nightmare, and Gunner immediately jumped on his chest, and laid on him. For the first time in years, Marcus didn’t thrash, and was able to just breath, despite almost 80lbs of weight on him. Gunner laid on him for 2hrs+ that night. Marcus’s wife had urged him to get help for years. She was able to catch it on recording, to show to his counselor. The counselor told them what Gunner was doing was called “Pressure Therapy”…which is what PTSD service dogs are trained to do. Gunner never had training. He just had instincts, and an instant bond. The term, “Man’s best friend” doesn’t cut it sometimes.

Saw this today and it honestly broke me a little. This man was sitting on the curb with a small food container, clearly not much. Right next to him was his dog, wrapped in a little blanket, lying on a makeshift bed. The guy opens his meal, takes a few bites… and then without even thinking twice, he feeds his dog from the same box. You could tell it wasn’t just “a pet.” That dog was family. They looked at each other with that kind of trust that you can’t fake. It’s crazy how people with the least often give the most. No phone out for attention, no crowd watching, just a quiet moment between two souls surviving together. I don’t know their story, but I know love when I see it. And this right here, this is love.

This has to go down as the craziest thing you’ll ever see in your life 😅😭 Got Sabonis under 14.5 rebounds two minutes before he was about to be subbed out, when he had 11 rebounds. This was a massive error line on Underdog — they had his rotation wrong. He then goes in for a layup, gets four rebounds on the same play, and then sits out for the rest of the game… Can’t make this stuff up. 😅

Life flight leaving with him Him TERRIFIED not knowing what is happening. Chronic ear infections needing antibiotics that wreck their gut? Sick shortly after receiving 💉? “When I got to him that day he started to turn blue. I picked him up and held him out in front of me to open up his airway. He was still moving all extremities at that point. Minutes, maybe even seconds who knows, later his arms went limp and fell back behind him. The rest of his body then quit moving in my arms as well. 9-1-1 rushed us to the ER. All tests, blood work, scans, x-rays were normal. They intubated him because he was struggling to breathe on his own. Life flight came and reintubated him because he was uncomfortable. We got to Childrens at the same time they did. They admitted him and immediately took him for his MRI. Dr. Cullimore knew what was happening before we even got there. They had just had 2 children with the SAME thing leave in the last two weeks with it, they came from the same ER as each other. One left a day before we got there…but it’s “rare” right? They asked all sorts of questions. So many tried to blame his daycare provider. I knew that would never be the case. After his MRI she sat us down and specifically said “this can be caused by a vaccine or a virus”. My heart sank. I knew what happened to him. Still mad I didn’t get that on video. If you can plan a nursery, you can take the time to read an insert for your childs safety and wellbeing. My baby was not sick.”
