My parents had a restaurant, I have a couple friends with food establishments. All employees have always been able to eat for free. I get rules are rules, but if you saw the amount of food that gets wasted at restaurants, deli’s etc., a sandwich or meal per employee is absolutely nothing.

My small town coffee shop job let me create my own meal for free each day. That is wild. Traumatize a kid, probably his first job.
