THIS GUY BUILT A FULLY FUNCTIONAL WINDOWS XP SIMULATION AS HIS PERSONAL WEBSITE it started as a simple XP-themed site and turned into a full simulation draggable windows, start menu, taskbar, Winamp music player. the whole thing you can actually click around, open programs, drag windows, play games, and use it like a real desktop this is the kind of creativity you need when building a personal site to show off your portfolio

My Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn port for Meta Quest 3 / 3S is no longer just a standard flat-screen version. I’ve converted it into a spatial app and detached the radar and build menus from the main game window. All windows can be freely arranged and resized to your liking. A language toggle (German/English) is included as well. Local LAN multiplayer and online play are also functional (I’ve set up a server for this purpose). Just a bit more polishing, and I might be able to release an initial version by the weekend for anyone interested :) I plan to add more features to turn this into a great VR / spatial experience :) The versions for iPad, MacOS and Apple Vision Pro are also still work in progress.

Building software is always a complex craft, but spatial computing is a different beast entirely. Safari can now automatically transform a website’s content into a spatial experience using Spatial Scenes — allowing you to literally look into the rooms of the apartment you’re about to book for your next holiday. It does this by beautifully blending the content with your surroundings and softly tinting your room with the website’s color palette. It's just not possible to capture. I also love that Apple Intelligence lives in a floating window beside the content, ready to summarize the page for you. I can’t wait to see how this evolves into what we’ll one day call the Spatial Web.
