Built a TGI Fridays 30 years ago. Boss and I were putting FRP board on the wall in the kitchen. trowel, 5 gallon bucket of glue. He bends down and his hammer goes 12 inches into the glue bucket. Stands up. Glue all over his leg, pulls hammer out of loop. GLue all over more of his pants, his shoes, the floor. Steps in an ice cream size blob of glue. I'm on the floor choking to death from laughing at him. Memories of past life debauchery

Yep. I've painted many rooms and I still paint with a brush, without tape and with just a small drop cloth under my paint can. I keep a clean slightly damp paper towel in my pocket for the tiny "oops" moments.

Brought back BAD memory: I was painting my apartment. Had a few cool Stellas lined up on the mantle piece. Used an empty bottle filled for a quarter with water as ash tray. Guess what I took a large slurp of at some point.

Reminds me of the time I fell off the ladder and ended up in a sitting position in a tray full of school bus yellow paint. Never did I ever think I would one day laugh like crazy about that. Thanks for providing the day...
