Don't say the 80% thing. That's just meaningless statistics (we understand, obviously they don't). Instead, show them this (just search "land doesn't vote" on the gif tab)

Just hit them with this:

Why do urban centers get to dictate how rural Americans live? I thought you were against imperialism.

This is what happens when a liberal encounters data that conflicts with their conditioning. They short circuit.

It’s funny how often they post it as if almost entirely red-county states like Nebraska and Kansas don’t crack even the 60% mark for Republicans

Okay, maybe we need to educate you my man. This map illustrates why the electoral college exists. Rural Americans need to have a say in who gets elected right? Well, if most 80 % live in cities. And cities have a different populace with different wants, needs, affiliation and perspective than the rural people, how could they possibly have any say without the electoral college. This shows that when you don't collect in sardine cans, the population tends to be more conservative, and if you want social programs in your cities. Go ahead. But forcing all that red to participate when they dont want to is irrational and un American.

It's not a mistake. These people believe that land should vote! (Or the more land you have, the more votes you should get.)

Did you know if you take away the part of a state that votes blue, it votes red!?

I always found the "land doesn't vote, people do" comment to be obnoxious. It translates to "rural people don't matter," or "we outnumber you, therefore we control you!" I like your explanation better.

They won the popular vote though…..

Not to mention the maps are just completely inaccurate too. Trump has never won Orange County CA, for example

Blue Silos are not indicative of widespread opinion. They’re vertical echo chambers. Further, Blue Silos are brimming with (1)reliably codependent constituents whose reliance on public assistance dictate their voting behaviors, (2)default libs and (3)NonProfits & their employs.

Except that, for all intents and purposes, land DOES actually vote. You really should learn how the electoral college process works. And since our system is, as you say, “winner takes all”, then the map isn’t really misleading at all.

I've made a rule for myself about this kind of thing If I see political messaging that has lots of likes, it is more than likely propaganda. What truly goes on in politics is so complex that you basically have to exclude all relevant info to get your average person to understand

It's actually redder than your map, dumbass. TX & FL southern borders are way more red. FL's about to redistrict & go solid RED. 😎🇺🇸

Ppl like you probably want to ditch the electoral collage and think its "democracy" when 51% of the people can dictate how the other 49% live their life Thankfully we dont live in a democracy. We live in a Constitutional Republic Liberalism has failed. Going back 2 Republic

Profilbild von Steve Pruitt

We live in a constitutional republic. If a county is 50.0001% democrats it is blue; if a county is 50.0001% republican it is red. This purple bullshit is libtarded cope.

I agree, just talk about the popular vote…oh wait…the last two elections (22-24) republicans won the generic vote big.

Does this retard not understand that a majority of counties voting majority red means a majority of Americans voted red? There's nothing misleading about pointing that out. This is why "fact checkers" cannot be trusted. Most are shitlibs like him that deny reality.

It’s easiest to cheat in higher populated areas. Which so happens to be sanctuary cities with no voter id laws.

Democrats are free to win those counties and then there won’t be so much misleading red. Instead it will be misleading blue. Go ahead. Feel free to win over those voters & change that deceptively red map.

Wrong. Land does vote. That’s why every state regardless of population gets two senators. Did you fail civics class or was it never taught to you?
