My mom is from Harlem and she talked about those days with such reverence. Hearing Malcolm X speak was revelatory & The programs The Muslims had in Harlem. They had farms and brought my mom food every week!

Iran was the first country to print a postage stamp to honour Malcom X's martyrdom, published in 1984
