The Kalpa Vigraha is a small black stone idol of Lord Shiva, about 5–6 cm tall, depicting Shiva in meditation with serpent and trident motifs. It is surrounded by mystery due to claims of extreme antiquity and spiritual significance.🚩🕉 According to monks in the Himalayan monastery where it was kept: The idol was not man-made, but manifested by sages or deities. It dates back to the Dwapara Yuga or even earlier. It was worshipped in secret by ascetics for countless generations as a link to Mahakaal, the timeless aspect of Shiva. In the United States (around the 1960s–1970s): The idol was analyzed. The material was found to be a very hard, ancient black stone. Claims emerged that testing indicated an age of about 2.5 billion years for the idol though this is geologically impossible for a carved figure, and likely refers to the rock’s age, not the sculpture. The wooden box, however, was reportedly carbon dated and found to be about 28,000 years old, which is far older than any known Hindu artifact or temple.

🗣️:I used to say I disliked extreme national pride,but after watching Taemin Coachella performance,I felt proud to be Korean and I think it was the best performance of the second day. 🗣️: Bc it was also a moment of directly witnessing how much the soul of this Korean artist has influenced so many people. It was also a moment of realizing how deeply this person is respected as the ultimate form of stage art in music.

Twice in one day, the media pursued a line of questioning that was not based on fact. This BBC interview featured a package in which they said farmers were selling up to make way for solar projects - this is generally not the case. Less than 1% of land in Lincolnshire is being used for solar farms and even in cases in which it is, landowners are leasing their land to make profit for solar farms - which btw is also in the national interest in terms of energy security (and the climate). The media has a lot to answer for when it comes to public trust…
