This needs to be investigated for election interference. Google Maps, Apple Maps, & others have changed the aerial view so it does NOT show the fire damage from the Palisades Fire. Why would they do this right before an election where the fire is directly impacting voters?

You are right. I’m in the Palisades right now. I just looked at Google maps and at the Palisades charter school, the baseball field is still showing. They tore it down and erected classroom pods a while back. The fire was over a year ago!

It’s so weird. I just went and looked up the house where my old girlfriend grew up in the Palisades. It was burnt to the ground. But now the map says it’s back. What the holy hell is happening?

This seems like a clear case of election interference by Google. Public threats to corporations by the Democrats seem to work.

What scumbags! I didn’t believe you until I saw Google Maps on my phone and it’s just as you said. So I thought I’d delete Google Maps if Apple was correct, but it’s wrong too! Now I’m stuck! Probably some fraud stream paid them off, or they’re really that brazenly political.

I looked on Google Maps yesterday. It showed burnt down homes.

Someone should post aerial or satellite photos showing the area and what it looks like now. The fires have been out 15 months, why has so little been done. Bonus if they new photos can be compared to old pre fire photos or photos immediately taken after the fire. We should be able to see what was destroyed and how little has been done to rebuild after the damage.

Both GOOGLE and Apple are not allowed to use current data for private property...Im not sure how delayed it has to be legally but Google Streetview and similar apps are NEVER current data.

So many conspiracies yet to be unearthed about the Palisades Fires (like still WTF was the LAFD doing sitting on the beach for 3 days?????) but very much doubt that the couple of hundred+ Google folks who would be in on this would be able to keep something like this a secret.

I was looking at my neighborhood this weekend to see how many homes were under construction and this was the Google map that came up. A pre-fire map of the El Medio Bluffs. Pretty shocking to see more than a year later.

Why are people playing games with this? People’s lives were destroyed. Google shows it correctly.

Closer zoom sometimes have different images. The close vs distant. Could be that simple.
