‘I don’t see how it (the Triangle offense) could work now’. - Pistol Early Offense is the TRIANGLE - Low-Post Splits & Squeeze is the TRIANGLE - Spread Offense to 2-Man game is the TRIANGLE - Blind Pig Pressure Release/Pinch Post is the TRIANGLE The Pistol is on full display in the Finals and owns the 3rd best O rating in NBA history (23/24 Pacers). Splits = Curry and the Warriors. Spread offense/2 Man was LeBron’s (and now Luka’s) primary offense for most of his career. BP/Pinch Post is predominant in college and the NBA on a nightly basis. I think Lebron meant well in the sense that modern spacing is much more optimized. But the Triangle is an offense that has transcended eras, beginning with Tex.
