A Polymarket tennis trader who is up $72K in sports markets has now opened a position on one of the biggest matches at the US Open His stats at this tournament are impressive → 18 total trades → 11 correct trades → 61% win rate → +$36.6K total profit → avg. position of $7K Today, he made his pick for the Tiafoe x Shelton match: → Ben Shelton to beat Frances Tiafoe at 73¢ | $10.9K This is a pretty confident pick, especially since Shelton has been playing at an unreal level He beat one of the US Open favorites, Carlos Alcaraz, in five sets This shows his character, ability to stay patient, and handle pressure What do you think about this matchup? I know for sure an American will win

We should have listened to David Foster Wallace’s warning back in 1997 when even Burger King was selling people burgers as an act of “rebellion”: Postmodernism would lead to a slow cultural death through endless “irony, cynicism, irreverence.” It’s time to break this spell.

I'M CALLING THIS ONE THE HOUSE. BITCOIN IS COMING HOME. $64K is the roof. $58K is the floor. Two paths from here. Break through, or drop back to the foundation at $58K–$62K and prove it holds first. Lose $58K and the house doesn't stand. A roof only breaks once the floor is proven.

Absolutely monster effort from Lennert van Eetvelt on Kráľova Hoľa… and a new KOM record that is probably going to last for a while. He covered the 13.75 km climb at an average gradient of 8.3% with an incredible average speed of 20.2 km/h, finishing the climb in just 40 minutes and 56 seconds. The previous KOM was held by Samuel Kováč, who rode the same segment in 46 minutes and 19 seconds at an average speed of 17.8 km/h and an average power of 382 watts. Very happy to finally see this climb get tarmac, and I definitely wouldn’t be mad to see it return every year at the Tour of Slovakia. It was absolutely beautiful.

Matt Damon had an excellent 2023. He starred in his buddy Ben Affleck’s story about Nike called Air & he was a key figure in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Damon’s amazing 2023 doesn’t feel too different from what he’s doing in 2026, which is star in a film with his buddy Ben (RIP) and this time lead a Christopher Nolan film. Damon is one of the great actors of our time.

For you gather-step-haters: This Maryland game-winner is a travel by the rulebook. He gathers the ball with his right foot down (pivot foot), then lifts it and puts it back down—travel. BUT this happens so often on drives, no one bats an eye.

SPEED KILLS Rockies Jake McCarthy lays down a bunt in an untraditional situation. Ninth inning two run lead with one out 3-1 count. Usually a damage count. He sees the 3B back off & pretty much give him a free hit. He looks at it as a double because he is confident in his ability to steal 2B which he does. He then bounces around at 2B & distracts the pitcher enough that he balks. He goes to 3B & scores on a sac fly. Not the kind of disruptive one man band stuff you see in professional baseball very often.

This is the stuff that makes you excited for Tyler Kolek as a back-up PG one day soon. This is an advanced read from a rookie. Watch how fast he identifies Scottie Pippen Jr. collapsing before kicking it out to Landry Shamet, who needed to see that go in.

Watch as the East Pacific Morphs into a Monster El Niño - the strongest ever observed! This visual is different - it shows how surface and subsurface temperatures have heated dramatically since last fall - relative to October’s ocean state. The heat travels there under the surface from an overheated West Pacific Warm Pool. It’s a testament to all the excess heat being stored in the oceans now-a-days coming back to haunt us as it’s released back into the active climate system, increasing extreme weather and climate patterns like heat, floods, droughts, and fires. This is real Data visualization not AI slop. #ElNino

"You've just come back from an injury; are you doing okay now or...?" 🗣️Pedri: Yeah, I'm fine for now. I don't feel any pain or anything. I've already had my first few minutes, and I'm eager to keep going... as long as he (Ferran) doesn't break me during a stretch or something. 🗣️Ferran: He doesn't appreciate me. You know when he'll finally appreciate me, right? When he loses me. This is like love, this is like love.

A widely circulated video shows Israeli soldier Ronen Moshe firing indiscriminately at Palestinian homes during a nighttime raid—just one day before he was killed in a resistance ambush in Khan Younis. The Israeli Foreign Ministry mourned him as an “innocent angel,” while Minister Ben Gvir labeled the Palestinians who killed him “Nazis.” This is Israel.

Let me say this again for those that wants to hear..... Whenever you're doing any ceremony be it house warming...hotel opening, burial, traditional marriage and someone comes with a cow... PLEASE make sure you give the person goat in return....While growing up I learnt something from one rich man in my community.... Whenever he's coming for your event with cow...he will give you early notice so you keep his goat down before he arrives.... Nothing is free in this realm....life is all about give and take...

The entire vibe of the movie changed the second the male lead got absolutely wrecked by the dinosaur he thought he could knock out with a Triple H-style sledgehammer shot. The entire atmosphere of The End of Oak Street changed the moment Greg realized this dinosaur was absolutely not the opponent he thought it was. He walked in with the confidence of someone ready to deliver a Triple H-style sledgehammer blow, only for the dinosaur to completely flip the situation. What started as a badass action moment instantly became a brutal reminder that confidence means very little when you underestimate a prehistoric predator. One encounter was all it took to make the film suddenly feel a whole lot more dangerous.
