This Cow survived a snake bite. Almost healed, it’s gone through extreme swelling of the head & neck which would lead me to believe it was bit directly on the head (probably just above the nose).. The skin will growing back nicely & through observation should completely recover within the next couple of months. We honestly didn’t expect it to survive. Common snakes in our farm are spitting cobra (Loso La Mae) & green/black mamba (Mokwepa). Still wondering which one was responsible for this.

Driving through Aurora, Colorado today reminded me of the times I lived in South America on and off for around 6 years. Often the people that walk around selling in or cleaning windows in traffic are aggressive, forceful, and pose as threats to passengers. First of all we have windshield wipers!! Secondly we don't need people looking through our windows to see what they can find coercing people for all the spare cash they have. In Latin America this is normal everywhere. Random people charging you for parking in public space, to sit down to eat at a restaurant they send in their kids to guilt you, or like this at a stop light, to be safe we have to pay them? This behavior isn't a favor or honest work, its a "pay me not to rob you," kind of deal.

This woman got an alert on her home camera that someone was trying to break in. When she speaks to him and tells him she can see him, he waves. 😂 Then she tells him to leave and that she has already called the cops. He takes off and hops the wall and is gone. Some people questioned why she would warn him that she had him on camera and told him she had notified the police. Others said he may have been able to take some stuff before the cops arrived. I would have done what she did. Why go through the hassle of repairing what he was going to break to get in, filing an insurance claim and him possibly taking something that was of value to you? What would you have done? Would you have just watched him and not said a thing hoping the cops arrived soon or would you have done what she did and told him to get lost?
