This particular statement in this video clip is sensational, misleading, baseless and downright stupid to say the Nigerian govt wants to pull Dangote refinery down. I wish this anchor would juxtapose the facts on ground and our Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) of 2018 and he will...

@ruffydfire saying that the Nigerian Government want to pull down Dangote Refinery is false and very irresponsible of him, @ARISEtv should not allow their platform to be used to spill out false narrative.

If your government is tired of using the naira let her just declare the dollar our new legal tender. Why selling crude oil in dollars for a Nigerian company? Is dangote an American company?

Really? So we are now attributing the success of DR to Tinubu? You people are so clueless that you're trying to clutch onto other people's hardwork. Has DR ever faced more challenges than the one this reckless Govt gives to him day in and day out?

Does the FCCPA also allow a regulator to be a competitor in the same market it regulates?!

Dangote has raised his three Daughters strategically, anyone of them can take over his position, and deliver it as perfectly as their father, so there's nothing to fear as far as the issue of leadership is concerned Secondly, Dangote has apparently made a very careful calculation before building this refinery, he knows very well that challenges are forthcoming, that getting Nigeria's Crude Oil would not be easy and satisfactory, because of the volume of corruption associated with our oil sector, that's why he had a plan B in place, which include importing Crude Oil from outside Thirdly, the idea of building another refinery is strategic and carefully calculated, he would not just build oil refinery in East Africa, he's building Africa's self reliant on energy, as well as moving his empire to the next Level Forthly, I believe by the time Dangote completed his new rrginery in the East Africa, he would begin oil exploration in those Eastern African countries, which means he would own the refinery and the oil field combined, which means his refineries might be independent of Nigeria's crude in the next 10-15 years Fifthly, By investing so much in the whole of African Continent, Dangote is providing a playing field for international investors, because investors would never invest in Africa, until they see someone is actually investing in Africa, and nobody can do that but an Aftican industrialist like Dangote Sixthly, Dangote can only have the courage to convince the world industrialist to invest in Africa, if he's actually leading it Seventhly, i believe that other Nigeria's industrialist like Abdusamad Rabiu BUA, Otedola, would also join the race, in investing so much in Africa Eighthly, This refinery would provide thousands of jobs to the people of East Africa Ninthly, This would be the renaissance of Africa And Tenthly Africa would be librated economically

I rise to support the Private Member’s Bill introduced by MP Shafi Parambil ji. This Bill seeks to strengthen passengers’ rights, guarantee fair competition, and the overall aviation regulatory framework. The urgency of this Bill has been underscored by the severe civil aviation crisis India has witnessed over the last fortnight. This is one of the most serious operational breakdowns in Indian aviation history— not a minor scheduling glitch, but a crisis that stranded travellers in terminals, disrupted businesses, and forced families to cancel long-planned holiday journeys. This is not just an internal airline failure. This is a crisis. And this crisis exposes deeper structural problems. ❓Why has the government allowed such concentrated market domination? ❓Why is there no healthy competition to absorb such shocks? ❓What role did the regulator’s preparedness play in this crisis? ❓Why are passengers left to bear the consequences of the systemic failures of this government? ❓Why has the government been so slow to enforce real accountability? ❓When will we adopt policies that prevent monopolistic control and ensure robust competition? This Bill calls for real structural reform—greater competition, and more robust entry and survival conditions for new and smaller operators. Let this House unite to ensure that India’s passengers are protected, that India’s skies are reliable, and that no single operational or regulatory failure can cripple our nation’s connectivity. I urge the Members to support this Bill—not just in spirit, but in action. : Manickam Tagore .B🇮🇳மாணிக்கம் தாகூர்.ப ji in Lok Sabha
