This past month, we shipped Warp Factories. It's a really robust, flexible solution to deploy software factories with any model + harness configuration. There's a lot of moving parts, so I recorded a complete walkthrough of what it can do. Hope it's helpful!

This would be exciting if I could actually try it, but you want my money first. So thanks, but no thanks :(

Today I learned: My design goal for @dunnbot as an assistant is basically a "software factory" but better.

Harness configuration is the easy part, the hard part is what happens when a factory run needs to pause and roll back mid execution.

Software factories make execution scalable. The more interesting question is whether they can make learning scalable too. Every run produces decisions, failures, fixes, verification results and configuration context. If that history becomes structured, trusted knowledge, the next factory doesn’t just inherit the codebase — it inherits what the previous runs already learned. 🤷🏻‍♂️👀
