“He’s not taking it seriously” - tell that to the (much bigger) version of myself that I was a year ago. Listen; I’m just trying to be real. I’m not trying to make excuses, even if I have. This past month was hard for me, especially sharing it the way that I did. But regardless of that I’m not gonna let that low point or anyone on the internet take away from the progress that I’ve made over the YEARS of struggling and learning that I’ve gone through. I will never give up on this journey, I still plan to hit 399 by the end of April; I have a plan, I have a schedule, and I’m going to do my best to follow it. I apologize if this feels like giving attention directly to the negativity, but I felt like these thoughts / this response and the *hope* that I feel right now regarding my journey really need to be shared. I’m PROUD of what I’ve accomplished, even knowing I still have a long ways to go. I see the positive, I promise, and I’m sorry that I can’t always take the time to respond to more messages. #weightlossjourney

NTSB investigators have given an update on the deadly plane crash that claimed the life of NASCAR star Greg Biffle and six other people, including his children, on Thursday morning. At Saturday’s press conference, officials confirmed that they still do not know the cause of the crash. “We do not know the circumstances which led the aircraft… to attempt to return to the airport, but that is the focus of our investigation,” officials said. They also confirmed that a text reading “Emergency landing” was sent from someone on the plane. “I can confirm that the NTSB is aware of one brief text from a passenger on board the aircraft to a family member that read, and I quote, ‘Emergency landing.'” “We are not aware of any other communications from passengers on board the aircraft to those on the ground.” The NTSB also says that at this time, it does not know who the pilot of the plane was.

Passengers aboard a Cape Air plane flying from Nantucket to Boston early Monday morning had an interesting flight when one of the aircraft’s windows popped open in the skies over Nantucket Sound. “The pilot was amazing and made everyone feel calm,” said island resident Lizbet Fuller, who was on the flight yesterday, the first leg of her trip to Virginia. “It was a bit nerve-wracking even though I’m smiling.” The Cape Air pilot returned to Nantucket and passengers boarded a different aircraft to complete the trip to Boston. The Current reached out to Cape Air about the incident Monday morning but we have not heard back from the airline. The aircraft appears to be one of Cape Air’s nine-seater Cessna 402s. We will update the post with any information they share. “Nothing like a little surprise wake up early in the morning!” Fuller added.

Bill Maher says he "doesn't blame" Trump for sneaking off Air Force One in a catering truck while Marco Rubio and the press stayed on the decoy plane. Then Andrew Cuomo jumps in and admits every other president would have done the exact same thing. MAHER: “President Trump foiled the assassins again this week. He jumped on the plane that wasn’t the plane, but he left everybody else on the other plane. If the Iranians were going to shoot down that plane, goodbye, Marco Rubio and a lot of other people. No, I’m not judging here. I’m sure that’s what the Secret Service told him to do." “My question is, because I’ve heard it is the president’s discretion whether he could do that or not. What about Reagan?” ANDERSON: “Donald Trump has had a number of credible threats on his life, traced back to the Iranian government. He got his ear shot. So I kind of think if you’re Donald Trump, you do what the Secret Service tells you.” MAHER: “Yeah, I would." CUOMO: "I think they all would.” MAHER: “You think they all would?” CUOMO: “Yeah, I think they would do what the Secret Service said to do. Yes, it’s his decision, but you rarely go against what the Secret Service is advising.” On the decoy plane were Marco Rubio, Scott Bessent, White House staffers, and the traveling press, some of whom had no idea the president was gone and were told to keep their window shades closed. Meanwhile, Trump was smuggled off Air Force One inside a catering truck to a smaller military jet, with Pete Hegseth flying at his side. The White House said he was aboard Air Force One the whole time.

It is a very unfortunate incident. Primarily, it appears that the pilot could not see the runway...He was a very experienced pilot, more than 16,000 hours of experience. The co-pilot also had 1500 hours of experience. The Captain was very experienced. He was with Sahara, JetLite, Jet Airways and he was very experienced on this type of aeroplane also...The aircraft was very well-maintained. There was absolutely no problem in the aircraf, there was no technical failure in the aircraft as far as we know...My deepest condolences. Captain Sumit Kapoor was a very good friend of mine. He was a brother to me. His son is also a pilot with us. Captain Shambhavi Pathak was a daughter to me. Both of them were extremely good human beings and extremely good pilots..." On the 2023 plane crash incident, he says, "What happened in 2023 occurred at Mumbai airport. It was raining then too and the visibility was low. The pilot skidded off the runway after touchdown. So, that was the incident..."

I’m not sure if it’s the standard or not but major props to this United Airlines Pilot. He is out walking around and inspecting this plane before he flys. He’s taking his time and really giving it a good look. I’ve never seen this before.
