Been all over Italy, that square is really the only nice part of Milan. It’s a shopping city mostly
Amazing that it took close to 600 years to build and that they actually finished it over that time and don’t give up on it. That’s like 8-10 generations of people during that time. The detail is incredible

Most overrated city in Europe and i say this in a time where all major western EU cities are seriously deteriorating...Milan is sadly very dangerous too... Meanwhile the Eastern EU cities are thriving offering a 100 times better human/tourism quality experiences...
