This format really does make the product mention feel way less forced. It feels more like you’re watching a conversation than an ad, which makes you want to keep watching 👀 Vizard Agent could be fun for testing this format with different hooks too.

Over the past year, a lot of the conversation has been around how quickly AI is changing the digital world. At the same time, it made us think about how little has changed in the physical one. Most products are still designed the same way, just with more features layered on top. We wanted to explore a different direction at Lusion. Instead of asking how to add intelligence, we asked what happens if you take things away. What remains when you strip a product back to its core purpose, and design it properly from there. Oryzo is our first attempt at that. It is a physical product, built with a very simple idea of how it should exist and behave. No dependency on external systems, no complexity for the sake of it. I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Rate each response and tell me what the pros and cons of each approach are." And I usually say "give it to me in numbered form". And then you can agree with one, disagree with two, tell it three is this or that. And then after that, you say given all of this, synthesize it."

This is perhaps the best Raksha Bandhan ad I have seen this year, though, to be honest, it wouldn't qualify as an ad at all - more of a short film. It is adequately predictable, feels like something plucked out of a longer movie, but still managed to make me sit through it because it did the basics really well. For starters, unlike most raksha bandhan ads, the brother doesn't simply bring a solitary rakhi and get it tied. He actually brings the paraphernalia, including the diya... lights the diya, and the rakhi becomes a part of the larger effort, and not the only one (yes, it is the most visible part). The act reminded me of this 2025 Diwali ad, by the way: And his response to 'money' is where I thought the ad's writer did give it some thought. It was a charming response, fully in context of the situation, with a good sense of humor. And the camera panning to the constable was a nice touch too! Why a short film, and not an ad? Because the brand connect is literally zero. Swap any brand in the ad and it would equally... not fit :) The agency doesn't make any attempt to integrate anything about the product inside the narrative. To be fair, they cannot - it's that kind of a product 🤷‍♂️ At least if it was a brand of washing detergent, or cooking oil, or plywood... or something, they may have considered adding something about the product inside the narrative... and still, it would look weak/forced. It feels like the story was conceived as a standalone idea removed from any advertising context, and just shot because someone could bankroll this from the/a brand. #advertising #marketing #creativity
