This post will be a bit personal. The final monologue in GTA VI's Extended Look hit me differently. I'm in my 40s now. I was a completely different person when GTA V came out. Different stage of life, different responsibilities, different everything. More than a decade has passed, and... somewhere along the way, waiting for the next GTA stopped feeling like simply waiting for another game. It became a reminder of how quickly time moves. It almost feels like Rockstar is speaking directly to those of us who have been playing these games for decades. A quiet reminder that we spend so much time waiting for the next big thing that we sometimes forget to appreciate it when it finally arrives. And I'd be lying if I said GTA VI doesn't make me wonder how many more of these moments I'll get to experience. If another GTA takes 10 or 15 years, how old will I be when I see it? How different will my life look then? How many new Grand Theft Auto games do I realistically have left in my lifetime? It's a strange thought, especially for those of us who remember when these games arrived every few years. So when GTA VI finally comes out, I don't want to rush through it. I want to take my time. Explore Vice City. Get lost in the little things. Talk about it with friends. Enjoy that rare period when everything is still new and millions of us are discovering the same world together. Because one day, GTA VI won't be the game we’re all waiting for anymore. It'll be the game we remember waiting all those years for. Enjoy it while we're here.show more

GTA 6 launching this late on a console generation means that Rockstar Games probably had to cut a lot of stuff or tone down the graphics in order to make the game run on base consoles. They're taking full advantage of these consoles' power and I think when the next-gen edition comes out, it will be a massive jump, similar to GTA 5 when it came out for PS4 and PC. That's the biggest jump we've seen a Rockstar game make and I wouldn't be surprised if a similar thing happens when GTA 6 comes out for PC and next-gen consoles. If the PS6 launches in late 2027 as some rumors suggest, the timeline falls in line with GTA 5 next-gen release which took 14 months to release for PC and PS4. Though I don't expect GTA 6 next-gen edition and PC version to launch at the same time due to current market conditions (the PS6 could be delayed to 2028) and I'm really hoping the PC port wont take that long to come out.

Watching Rockstar Games show a huge amount of interiors and enterable stores in that GTA VI Extended Look was insane. As most of us already know, GTA V doesn't have that many enterable stores or interiors due to the stuff they had to cut back when they developed this game for PS3 consoles. GTA VI is not only going to be bigger in map size compared to GTA V, but in depth too.

I'm always blown away by the fact that Rockstar Games casually made some of the best and most realistic water physics in 2008. GTA IV is the prime example of Rockstar Games focusing heavily on bringing realistic physics in a video-game. Everything from how a car handles, NPC ragdoll and water simulation in Grand Theft Auto IV was way ahead of its time and it even beats most of AAA games that we've seen these past few years when it comes to those game mechanics. Imagine how much ahead GTA 6 is going to be now that Rockstar Games has much more processing power to work with on current gen consoles

Hot Take: This is exactly what is wrong in Rockstar Game’s mission design. During this section in GTA V; I got stuck my vehicle between some rocks and I was trying to get it out As soon as I managed to get un-stuck, the Rockstar’s hand holding mechanism kicked in and the game decided it was a mission failed, prompting me to retry the mission. I don’t think these unnecessary mission failed screens should appear so often, especially in GTA VI. This is somewhat of an exaggeration but you get the point, sometimes just trying to take a different route or approach during a mission will get you the mission failed screen Recent Rockstar Games are rated M (GTA 6 too probably), so I don’t understand why Rockstar likes to treat gamers who play these games like children. Anyone with a logical brain will know that they’re stuck so they can pause the screen to restart from a checkpoint or destroy the vehicle to get the mission failed screen. I really hope that GTA VI offers more freedom for players when it comes to approaching missions and situation like these ones.

One of the Grand Theft Auto V downsides was that it didn't match GTA IV in terms of euphoria ragdoll physics, in this example here you can see how easily the NPCs die when you shoot them on the foot. Part of the reason why I believe the euphoria engine was downgraded was due to the scale of GTA V and that it was designed for PS3/Xbox 360 consoles. Fast Forward a generation later, Red Dead Redemption 2 is much better compared to this, but I still prefer the one in Grand Theft Auto IV. When GTA VI comes out, perhaps we will see a more improved version of euphoria ragdoll physics which will be a mix of both GTA IV style ragdolls and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Even though we've only seen snippets of how the underwater looks like in GTA 6, I can't wait to see what Rockstar Games has done this time. Grand Theft Auto V underwater exploration was awesome for its time and I always found myself exploring multiple areas because of how calming it is. With GTA 6 I'm expecting Rockstar Games to add even more sea creatures and mysteries like this UFO one in GTA 5

I now have a magic thing called Codex. So do you, so does everybody. That means I should be using my computer in a completely different way. I should not be clicking around pasting from one messaging app to another. 🐶: Recently, I was looking through the photos over the years, and I realized there are so many moments captured. All those photos, were taken by you. Some of you even printed them at home, and some went to photo studios just to get them developed. When I look at those, I don’t think about whether I looked good or bad, or what my face looked like back then. Of course, I’m always so grateful you took them, and when I see them, I can remember exactly when and what song it was from. But more than that, I think about how when it was hot, you still came to see us, and when it was freezing cold, you waited for us to arrive. Even if it was just for a 3 or 10 minute performance, you got on planes, buses, or trains and came all that way, waiting for us no matter the weather. I think about that a lot. how you always arrive before we do, how you get less sleep than we do, how tired you must be, and yet, you spend your time just to see us for a brief moment. I think about how you’ve given us your time, your effort, that you’ve shared part of your life with us. So when I look at those photos, it’s not just, “Ah, that was a nice moment.” Of course, it’s wonderful and I’m grateful, but more than that, I realize you must have gone through so much for us. You must have been tired, sleepless, yet you came to so many places and took so many photos. That’s why every single picture, every single letter I receive, isn’t just a photo or a letter to me, it holds your time, your memories, your moments spent with us. When I think about that, I feel so sorry, and so grateful, truly. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. That’s why I always say, whenever I meet you, it feels like I’ve received homework: “How can I repay all this love I’ve been given?” I spend a lot of time thinking about that. No matter how much we give, it never feels like enough. Even though I’m still lacking in so many ways, you think of me, you love me, and you cheer for me. It makes me think, am I really allowed to be this happy? This 20th anniversary has made me reflect a lot. I kept thinking, “I really need to do well,” and “I want to show everyone my best.” But looking back, I feel like I still have a lot of shortcomings. Thank you so much to everyone who has been with me for the past 20 years. I hope we can be together for the 21st and 22nd anniversaries too. That’s why I’ll take better care of my health, work harder on my music, dance even more passionately, and do my best in every way, so I can repay all of you even more. Everyone, sleep well tonight. Those going out to enjoy Suju Week, dress warmly, eat well, and take good care of yourselves. To give you a perspective on how advanced the NPC interaction system in GTA VI is going to be, here's a direct comparison between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 In GTA V, the only option is to greet or insult NPCs depending on the character that you're playing as, in this case here Trevor will insult them. Red Dead Redemption 2 on the other hand has a completely different NPC interaction system where you have the option to greet, antagonize or rob NPCs. These options alone can give you the freedom to greet an NPC first, then immediately antagonize them to allow for different outcomes based on how you choose to interact with NPCs. This alone was a game changer and you can expect Grand Theft Auto VI to have an even more complex NPC interaction system compared to Red Dead Redemption 2, with more dialogue options and different outcomes. Its probably one of the reasons why GTA VI is taking much longer to develop, imagine how many lines of dialogue Rockstar Games had to record and make all of them work seamlessly by the time the game comes out.

260621 mingyu officially announces his hiatus in his ment😭 his way of words😭 #민규 #세븐틴 🐶 i was so thankful today, everyone. time really flies, doesn't it? listening to the members talk earlier reminded me of when i was younger. when i was a trainee, debuting was my dream, but when i actually debuted on may 26, 2015, i realized there was such a long way to go, so much to do, and so much growth to do. we have already run hard for 11 years to become the seventeen of today. sometimes i think of it as just having fun with our familiar carats, but if i look at it differently, i find myself reflecting on how and when i became someone who can laugh and enjoy myself with you all in such a huge venue without getting nervous. 🐶 that is why for a while... i guess i have no choice but to talk about this. i didn't want to, and although i will have to take a break from performing with you all on such a big stage for a while, i believe i have successfully wrapped up a chapter of the past 11 years. also, i want to say how incredibly grateful i am to the carats who have loved us all this time, and i am so thankful to the members who have endured so well, and i am also very grateful to the staff around us. i believe that when we gather again in two or three years, it will mark the beginning of the second chapter. so, we should show a more mature side, a slightly different side and... be different from now, right? i hope you will love that side of us as well, and we will continue to grow as seventeen. i am always so grateful, i love you so much, and i will do my best. thank you

🐤: What I think about the most these days is that I started my career in my early twenties, and before I even realized it, I had reached my 22nd or 21st year in the industry, and I had entered my forties. My teeth and eyesight are still healthy, and I think the fact that I do not drink alcohol probably has something to do with that too. When I see articles about people I used to watch when I was young who have passed away, I think, “When I was young, I loved them and watched them on TV all the time. As I grew older, they grew older too.” Seeing that makes me think a lot about, “What will I be like when I reach that age?” In reality, when a person is born, they are moving toward a new life, but at the same time, they are also moving toward death. That is an unavoidable fate for every human being. But during the time we have here, living happily and passionately is a responsibility each of us has. I also try to live every day diligently and happily. On the other hand, when I was in my twenties, I thought that once I reached my thirties and forties, I would be very old, that I would become weaker and lose my strength. But now that I have actually reached this age, I feel healthier than I did back then. Is that just psychological? I do not know. What will my life be like when I reach my fifties, sixties, and seventies? I think about these things a lot these days. Sometimes I feel sad or frustrated, and I have so many thoughts about how I should live my future. What concerns me most is not simply thinking about specific things like, “What house will I live in?” “What car will I drive?” or “Will I continue working?” What matters more to me is, when I get older, will I still be healthy? Will I still look attractive? How will people see me? And when I look at myself in the mirror, will I be satisfied with myself and think, “This is good enough”? These are the worries, anxieties, and thoughts that occupy my mind a lot these days. So I think about these things. Kkongi has already turned nine before I even realized it. Everyone has the same kinds of worries, but for me in particular, my family consists only of my mother and my sister, and there is also Kkongi. So yeah, after watching it yesterday for the 5th #ChristmasDay in a row, there is no denial: Patty Jenkins’s #WonderWoman1984 became my Post-Covid #Christmas movie staple. I think I’ll never forget the preview night when it came out, with the film in theatres during just a short evening, because of the announcement that, from that night or, depending on the city, on the following day which was supposed to be its opening day, all theatres would be closed for the following 6 months in the U.K. The rush to get to the nearest theatre still open that evening when the lockdown announcement came, we had to go all the way from London to Maidenhead to be able to watch it on that THU, as the preview screenings that evening in London were being canceled… I was so excited for that film for over 2 years, and somehow I knew that would be the one and only opportunity to see it in theatres. And I was so damn right! I think I never understood, till that point, how much movies, movie theatres and the moviegoing experience were important to me. They’ve always been there as part of my life, I’ve always taken them for granted. Until, all of sudden, they weren’t. And for a moment, #WW84 would be the last blockbuster we would see in a movie theatre, for a long while. That day for me was like our last, desperate way to hold on to the old normal pre-Covid. And in a way, in my mind, I was saying good bye to those Pre-Covid times without even knowing it. When theatres reopened again, 6 months later, things never got back to where they were. On top of a period already challenging as it as, my mother passed away within that bleak period, 2 weeks before theatres reopened. While some say ironically or mockingly that we went through a Great Reset, to me it was a literal reset. A forced one I was never consulted about nor agreed with. But life goes on, and we had to move on with it - but never losing that hope deep inside that, one day, we would have that life pre-Covid back. And that’s how #WonderWoman1984 deeply connected with me, I believe even more on the following Christmas in 2021, when things got scarily more relatable after that tough year. The film had all the messages I needed just on the right time. All the social unrest, forced division and global turmoil that followed from 2021 onwards, mixed with that longing desire to have back a life and the people that I would never have again, it felt like that film was predicting what we were about to go through in the following years, while offering its perspective on how to - and how not to - deal with most of these phantoms. And every time I rewatch it, I appreciate it a bit more. All those beautiful, powerful messages still stand and they feel even more meaningful now than they already were back in DEC 2020. They remind me of what we used to be as society, but also remind me of what we still can be, depending on the path we decide to take. And I know, I know - on this app, that movie means different things for different people, or even it might be the case it feels meaningless for some. I totally understand, respect and appreciate the diversity of opinions around it, and I see where they are coming from. I’ll never fight about your own views about the movie or your experience with it. That’s the magic of the movies after all, resonate differently with different people, as a collective but diverse experience. But to me it has a deeper meaning, and I love revisiting it time and time again. Until next Christmas!
