The ocean off Cabo does not care how good of a swimmer you are and this video is proof - this guy jumped off the boat and that current grabbed him and made the swim back feel like it lasted a lifetime. You can see him fighting to get back and it is not until you watch it that you realize just how fast the water can take you somewhere you never planned to go. And let us not forget Cabo is known for shark activity in those waters - a rope, a float, anything thrown in the water at that moment could have been the difference between a story he tells and one nobody ever hears. The current alone was dangerous enough but being that far from the boat in open ocean water with everything swimming beneath the surface is a completely different level of risk that most people never think about until it is too late. Glad he made it back. Are you a good swimmer? That one could have gone a whole different direction.

This incident is much bigger than it first appeared and I’ve obtained all of the available video. ICE agents detained an illegal alien and as they were taking him away, a relative with a bloody nose tried to grab the detainee. In the second clip, one of the group reaches for the firearm of an ICE agent and gets punched in the face. The agent says one of the women assaulted him and he had to wrestle with the torta for several minutes before she was finally detained. I’m waiting for a statement from ICE on the incident.

This woman walked into this ice cream shop and ordered an ice cream cone. When they handed it to her she told them she couldn’t pay for it. 😳 The employees said she had to pay for it. She didn’t have any money. She asks them if they are going to call the cops. This male customer sitting there chimes in and says if they call the cops he will be a witness. The woman said she told them she wanted it for free but the man said that’s not true. He said he watched her the whole time. She tries to put it down on the countertop but the employee tells her don’t leave it there. So she walks over and throws it in the trash. The witness tells her “this is what entitlement looks like” as she walks out the door. Some people said why not just buy the ice cream for her, to have a heart, because you never know what someone is going through. Others said if she had asked the right way and told them up front she didn’t have any money then maybe they would have purchased it for her but to come in and order and THEN tell them you don’t have any money is just wrong. This wasn’t a steak or a burger or a meal, I could see buying her those things to help someone out that is hungry but an ice cream is not a necessity. No one owes anyone anything. What do you think? Should one of them have bought the ice cream for her, given it to her for free? Or do you think she was trying to get something for free and trying to take advantage of them?

I Got to Hold an Osprey Today!! But Not for the Reason You Think!! It’s not every day that you get to hold an osprey and set it free. When I first saw this bird on the water, I wasn’t sure what was happening, but then I saw the fishing line and quickly moved in to help. Thanks to Sterling Foster for literally giving me the shirt off his back to cover the bird and fearlessly helping me untangle the fishing line. Teamwork helped put this beauty back in the sky where it belongs.

This is my favorite Black Skimmer video because it perfectly illustrates the beauty of flight and this bird’s mastery of it and its environment. Watch how it makes a full 180-degree turn using its tail while keeping its head perfectly stable and its eye on the prize. It’s hard for me to fathom the amount of thinking that even goes into this process, and yet the Black Skimmer does it all on autopilot. What an amazing animal.

This woman picked up a badly painted dresser for just $25 on Facebook Marketplace and completely transformed it. It was covered in thick paint, but underneath was beautiful walnut veneer and even a cedar-lined chest at the bottom. She stripped off all the old paint, sanded it down, added some nice details for visual interest, and gave it a fresh modern two-tone finish. I’m not a big fan of painting wood, but I have to admit that this mix of painted wood and natural wood looks stunning and gives it a nice modern look. It feels so much more intentional and classy than covering the whole piece in one solid color. Sometimes the best pieces are the ones other people gave up on. A little time, the right tools, and some creativity can completely transform something that looked like a lost cause. This is for all the people in the arena ( your life, your career, your family ) who are doing it for them .. not for the validation of the crowd One of the great issues in our society right now is that people live their lives for outside validation, for the clicks, for the likes, for the followers, for the comments. This isn't just in social media. This is happening in the analog and real world too. Too many people are keeping up with the Joneses and worried about what people think about them. They worry about what people think about how much money they have, what school they go to, or even worse, what school their kids go to, and on and on and on … I will continue to make content with the hope it breaks someone out of the hamster wheel and that’s that ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This guy has been restoring an abandoned resort, and one of his biggest highlights so far was finally getting the 100+ year old water feature working again. After months of back-breaking work repairing a mile-long water line that brings fresh spring water to the property, he turned it on for the first time. The old fountain started flowing again and overflowed into the man-made stream just like it was meant to. You can feel how emotional and rewarding this moment was for him after all that hard work. It is now the seventh day – something that has never happened before – of an emergency situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Because of Russian shelling, the plant has been cut off from power, disconnected from the electrical grid, and is being supplied with electricity by diesel generators. This is extraordinary. The generators and the plant were not designed for this, have never operated in this mode for long, and we already have information that one generator has failed. It is Russian shelling that prevents repair of the power lines to the plant and the restoration of basic safety.
