Those who don't understand increasing your available braking distance. Spend some time using a vehicle that doesn't have ABS. See what happens when you try to steer when braking hard or what happens when you lose traction.

I've had similar scenarios, where it was much closer and I wish I had the option to give myself more space to brake

Clearly going too fast without hiviz clothing and I bet you don’t pay road tax either. You were asking for it…

I don't even pay for my petrol.

First thought is to swerve into oncoming traffic 😂😂😂😂

Where did I go into oncoming traffic?

Been a biker all my life and I expect every vehicle I see to pull out in front of me. As such I anticipate this. I would have slowed and let him out. 😎

Which is what I did? I used all available road space to do so in the safest way possible, especially as refuse trucks often stop, I have no idea when they first pull out what they are going to do.

Look at that speedo - must be up near 150 criminally reckless driving

You should have been able to slow down much faster than that (not disputing the bin lorry was in the wrong, he definitely was) but if you can't brake quicker than that you are also a danger

I can indeed brake much quicker than that. However, an emergency stop should only be done in an emergency. As such, where appropriate, I will use all available road space to come to a safe and controlled stop.
