It also programs for the exchange of students, teachers, and specialists between the U.S. and other nations.  For over 60 years, the act prohibited the State Department and later the U.S. Information Agency from distributing their foreign-targeted materials within the United Statesbecause bluntly - it was propaganda used on foreigners. In 2012 there was an amendment lifted the ban on domestic dissemination. The reason why was because of the Internet, anyone can now see or hear anything. can now be made available to Americans upon request, and the government is no longer prohibited from engaging in media just because a domestic audience might see it. While the ban was eased for transparency and digital-age practicality, the law still prohibits the use of these funds to intentionally influence or "target" public opinion within the U.S. The Act never applied to U.S. journalists and obviously that angry little troll doll has no understanding that what she’s suggesting has nothing to do with the Act and is wildly Uncinstitional Why do you idiots keep calling yourselves “patriots.” You hate the Constitution.

We would be well served if some intrepid conservative legal scholars mounted a challenge to Citizens United. That, probably more than Smith-Mundt, has caused more damage to the country, led to more political corruption and more fraud, than anything, law, or ruling, in the history of the country.
