We cannot have two sets of rules, one for the powerful and another for the people. Our government was founded on the principle of accountability, not the preservation of political privilege. The American people deserve a Congress that operates with the same transparency it demands of its citizens.

It is a safeguard. A government agent wearing a mask is not exercising a right. They are exercising state power. State power operates under a different standard. The Constitution demands accountability from those who detain, search, or use force. The Fourth Amendment restricts government action. Due process requires transparency. Public power cannot hide behind anonymity while asserting control. In a democracy: Private speech can be anonymous. Government force cannot. One is liberty. The other is authority. Know the difference.
