Bruh y’all have to look at sam’s perspective bruh. I get where both of them is coming from. Sam thought NOBODY should have the shield and that it belonged to steve alone. He didn’t want to take up the mantle because he felt he was not good enough.

Bucky sees this as a betrayal to Steve because deep down he still hasn't gotten over everything he did while under Hydra's control. Sam gave up the shield because he couldn't handle the pressure of being a black Captain America since he thought he was less of a hero than Steve.

this show has done permanent damage to Sam's character which affected his movie pretty harsh and has only helped Walker and Bucky grow after Thunderbolt
