This scene carries SO MUCH weight. I think the main reason it's so powerful is because we rarely see iroh show such visceral emotion. You know it's serious when the calm and gentle character is so desperate that he's literally begging and screaming for a change.

Shabana: It's just a beautiful thing that her character had such an impact. "dominant or photo finish win?" 🆑️: that's complicated. what drives me and what i love so much in this sport is the emotion. and i think the emotion is always bigger when it happens on the last corner of the last lap. it's exceptional! but then, winning by a big margin means you've done everything perfect, and that helps for the next races, knowing you might have an advantage over others. so it's complicated, but i'll choose the emotion and the photo finish win my heart would not handle it well 😭😭

Q. the most heart-fluttering part? 🐶 there were a lot of parts that made my heart flutter, but there's a scene in the drama where wan sees huiju for the first time. it's a scene where she's practicing alone at the archery range, and i don't know if it's because wan's feelings really resonated with me in that scene and because she acted out that exact scene so perfectly, but looking at her back as she bows and walks away i thought, 'oh! she's so cute' and 'my heart is fluttering so much'. i think the feeling of 'she's cute' was actually bigger than 'my heart is fluttering' but as you guys all know, once you find someone cute, it's game over.
