@WineAboutSport I always reserve judgement until I know the rules of the scramble. I.E could you buy mulligans, tosses, etc... because if you can then in theory you can just buy these low scores.

@WineAboutSport If they had red tees, mulligan putt, mulligan tee shot and throws, only way there is a sub 50. A 59 with 3 scratch golfers is bad though. 52-55 usually wins these imo. D1 college golfers can toss 59-65 on regular courses from men’s tees all the time.

@WineAboutSport The last 4-man scramble I played we went off as groups of 8. Winning score was -15. No shenanigans. Why don’t all 4-mans do this????

Assuming straight play you would have to birdie the pars 3's and 4's and eagle the par 5's and that only gets you to 50. To get to 48, two more eagles are needed on par 4's. So six Eagles and twelve Birdies in a four-man scramble. Not impossible, but pretty dam close to impossible

@WineAboutSport 3 Scratch Golfers, wasting their day participating in such an event? That's what happens.

@WineAboutSport Scrambles without a scorer in each group is a waste of time.

@WineAboutSport 59 is horrible with 3 scratch golfers

@WineAboutSport It's not golf!!! Scrambles are the absolute worst!!! Way over priced, cheaters galore and a colossal was of time.

@WineAboutSport This is bogus but also a 59 with 3 scratch golfers isn’t great… gotta put up a low mid 50s

@WineAboutSport I played against Joel Dahmen in a 4 man scramble and they only turned in a 50.
