It’s worth noting that there is no evidence that Nathan Cofnas is either a eugenicist or a racist. Or at least I have not seen any evidence of it. Horizontal differentiation - acknowledging that differences exist - does not imply that any moral hierarchy should be imposed. This kind of obfuscation is routinely used to tar anyone who discusses group differences as a bigot. The same rhetorical move is applied to those who acknowledge biological differences between the sexes. Does saying men and women are different make you a sexist? Absurd right. So apply the same thing to race. Moreover, the smoking gun quote where Nathan Cofnas allegedly said that "blacks would disappear from almost all high-profile positions outside of sports and entertainment" is quite literally a direct reference to a 2013 Harvard report. Many commentators and mainstream media outlets accusing the Arday whistleblower of racism from The Observer to The New Yorker are CLEARLY taking him out of context ⬇️
