As long as Admiral Ahmed Hurre Hariye and the Somaliland Navy and Coast Guard remain vigilant, Somaliland’s maritime domain will continue to be secure and well protected. The reality on the ground speaks for itself. Somaliland enjoys stability and security compared to other regions that continue to suffer from conflict and instability, such as Sudan and areas where Islamist political movements have had a strong influence. Security is not built on slogans it is built on strong institutions, capable leadership, and a firm commitment to protecting the nation and its people.

Then they posted it to mislead the public and the people of Somaliland. This is what Hargeisa project means. It’s dishonest, manipulative, corrupt and fake. Hargeisa project allows the EU EUCAPSOM to come to the State of Somaliland, works with them and let EU benefits from Somaliland’s strategic location under the name of Somalia. And when the EU wants to sign a proper security agreement? It goes to Djibouti. When people argue that #Taiwan has not done enough to support #Somaliland, I used to respond that the issue is not Taiwan’s unwillingness to help, but rather Somaliland’s limited capacity to fully utilize Taiwanese expertise and resources. That is precisely why this issue the foreign minister of #Israel discussing is so important. Large parts of Somaliland, including the capital, suffer from chronic water shortages despite receiving ample rainfall. Water management and rainwater harvesting are therefore not just development concerns but critical national security issues. In that context, I am encouraged to see Somaliland making practical use of its relationship with Israel in this area. Somaliland does not need desalination plants or overly complex water infrastructure. What it urgently needs are well-planned dams to capture and store runoff water. Naturally, these dams must be distributed fairly across the country to ensure equitable access and long-term stability.
