Combat theme of the last KH2 world goes crazy when you listen to it on it's own, same with the final boss theme

Nah it just sounds cooler but Tension Rising is awesome no matter what

There's a good amount of songs where I could go for whichever version, but not for Tension Rising... OG feels so much more "weighty" if that makes sense

While I prefer the original OST more, I do think that Yoko did some remastered songs justice like Adventures in the Savannah, He's A Pirate, Home of the Dragons and What A Surprise

this track is better than the remastered too imo, tron battle theme

I love a lot of the remastered tracks in 2.5 but most of the boss themes are weaker in imo due to the lacking percussion and brass

I prefer the original music than the ffm remixed versions

everytime a remake get a remastered / remade sountrack it sounds worse, kingdom hearts is the smallest offender in this regard, but side by side i prefer basically every original track still nier replicant's composer can shove it up his ass

Reviving hollow bastion also sounds better in the original version imo
