My plush octopus got a little too attached to me 😂🐙 Claude Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6.1 Sol I prefer Opus: fluffier fur and livelier tentacles. Both run right in the browser on WebGPU - no ready-made models or textures, just code, soft-body physics, and fur you can comb Unexpectedly, Opus was cheaper too. Sol usually costs several times less in my tests Estimated API cost: Opus - $15.21 Sol - $18.03 Fluffier and cheaper? Which one would you pick? 👀

this is f**king insane i cancelled my $20/mo claude subscription for this. a dev found a way around OpenAI's usage limits and got unlimited GPT-5.6 Luna on Codex for FREE ($0)😳 He built a three step local workflow on a single machine. This involved no servers, shared accounts, or a team. Instead he used a GitHub repo, one prompt file, and a local coding agent. Traditional users pay full price or hit usage limits. His cost: basically $0. Here's the set up (3min): → Repo layer: Installed 'sol-advisor' from GitHub. → Prompt layer: Copied the 'savings-prompt' out of the repo. → Agent layer: Pointed codex at gpt 5.6 luna with the prompt loaded. → Activation: Loaded it into codex. Usage limits gone. usage after activation: normal codex access. unlimited. one trick. one window. use this before it gets patched.

if you use Codex and you're stuck on GPT models only, this fixes that. it's called codex-router, open source. drops other models straight into your normal Codex picker, right next to the GPT ones you already have. what it adds: - Grok, Kimi, Deepseek, Claude, all in the same picker - oauth login per provider, no api key needed - your GPT models and Chatgpt login stay untouched setup: point Codex at the repo, let it read the readme, it installs itself one snag: if you've got the Chatgpt app and a separate Codex on your path, you can end up running two different Codex versions, and the older one can choke on newer config it doesn't recognize. if the install looks off after, that's probably why, reinstall clean.

"You've reached your rate limit. Try again after 7pm." every. fucking. day. $200/month - $2,400 a year - for Codex. then i opened the DeepSeek pricing page. Someone made DeepSeek a native subagent for Codex. Heavy work goes there, light stays on GPT-5. Same code out the other end. 35x cheaper. DeepSeek V4 Flash lives on its own API key, not on my Plus quota. One command: npx skills add oil-oil/codex-deepseek-subagent -g -y Restart Codex, tell it "set up DeepSeek as a subagent", done. First day in a month I'm still working in the evening instead of hitting the wall. save this before your next rate-limit ↓

this is literally f**king insane i just 2x my usage limits on $200/mo codex i figured out how to use deepseek v4.1-flash on $10/mo opencode go for routine subagent work... while gpt-6 astra directs the project and sol handles implementation. here's how to set it up in 3 mins: → connect opencode go to codex through model-router → install quota flow, including its skill and agent profiles → open a fresh astra task and paste: quota flow tells flash to handle discovery and checks, sol to implement, and luna to review when needed. the same implementation agent keeps its context through the build → test → fix loop. every extra agent should earn its call.

$I’ve never seen an AI workflow this terrifying GPT-6 Sol thinks, Jev decides, Grok Bot executes. Together, they replace a whole team for pennies Alone, each hits a wall. 🚨 Alibaba just open sourced a GUI agent that lives inside your webpage and controls it with natural language. It's called Page Agent and it's not a browser extension. It's pure JavaScript no Python, no Puppeteer, no headless browser, no screenshots. Just one script tag and your web app understands natural language. Here's what it actually does: → Embed it with a single tag or npm install → Control any web interface with plain English commands → Text-based DOM manipulation no OCR, no vision models needed → Bring your own LLM (GPT, Claude, Qwen, anything) → Ships a built-in UI with human-in-the-loop support → Turn 20-click ERP/CRM workflows into one sentence → Optional Chrome extension for multi-tab agent tasks → Works on any web app SaaS, admin panels, internal tools Companies are charging $30/month for AI copilots built on this exact idea. This is 3 lines of code. Your users. Your interface. The AI copilot layer for every web app just got open sourced. 1.6K stars. 100% Open Source. (Link in the comments)
