This Studio Ghibli film deserves more love

@PhotoGhibli Nah its ass. Some beautiful visuals but an absolutely incoherent plot. Willem Defoe as the villain was the only good part

@PhotoGhibli You're not allowed to like it cause the Internet said so or something

@PhotoGhibli Tales from Earthsea Might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure was beautiful.

@PhotoGhibli As someone who read the books. No.

@PhotoGhibli ah yes, the movie that cemented what kind of asshole Miyazaki is as a father.

@PhotoGhibli This was awful. Even the book author thinks so. There's a notorious video of Hayao Miyazaki exiting a screening of the film and everyone politely saying vague things about his son's film, but you see it plainly on his face on how he truly feels. 😑

@PhotoGhibli I only wish they had done more with it or made it a two-parter so they can actually fit more of the story in.

@PhotoGhibli This is how I wish lore accurate Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Dragon moved

@PhotoGhibli nah, the writer behind the book kinda hated this movie lmao

@PhotoGhibli YES! Excellent.

@PhotoGhibli No it doesn't, the movie was terrible.

@PhotoGhibli yes it does

@PhotoGhibli @grok what movie?

@PhotoGhibli Just watched it recently, i thoroughly enjoyed it

@PhotoGhibli It’s a beautifully animated film, great music, but the second half just feels so empty to me. I don’t hate it, but I definitely see why it’s always considered one of the worst.

@PhotoGhibli Tales of Earthsea. Beautiful, but good God is it terrible. As both an adaptation and a movie in its own right.

@PhotoGhibli @gork what movie is the

@PhotoGhibli Nah. The story was a nothing burger.

@PhotoGhibli Gorgeous movie, dreadfully boring, and horribly paced.

@PhotoGhibli it’s boring as f

@PhotoGhibli It’s pretty good

@PhotoGhibli the art style here is genuinely unhinged i love it

@PhotoGhibli No, it doesn't.

@PhotoGhibli I really love it, Goro did a good job.

@PhotoGhibli Tales from earthsea is the movie’s name

@PhotoGhibli I see Game of Thrones resemblance here

@PhotoGhibli Naw title dragon and there in it less then a minute 😆

@PhotoGhibli Earth sea
