Nigerian staffer inside Dearborn’s disabled adult foster care system tells me many centers are likely committing FRAUD. No staff on site during peak hours. No patients. We knocked on several doors… No answer. We also discovered that for most workers, this is their first job since immigrating. Zero caregiving experience or relevant education. They said “We work like slaves,” but are at least “rich in our own country.” How is this allowed? This is supposed to be professional care for disabled Americans.

We went to Vegas for our 10 year anniversary and paid an arm and a leg to see all 4 Phish shows at the Sphere. Worth it. No regrets. But no, we were not also ordering $100 pretzel bites or a $370 ribeye while we were there. We spent the money on the actual reason we went. Here’s a clip of First Tube on night 4, which still feels completely insane to watch back.
