This take will never not be funny to me, cause even tho HSR models look average on the overworld, they have BY FAR THE BEST MODEL PRESENTATION and animation out of all Hoyo games.

Because animations are literally the only thing hsr can sell. If their animations werent at least servicable then devs would literally be doing fucking nothing. Because literally everything else from models to story to endgame and powercreep sucks absolute ass right now.

THANK YOU I genuinely don't see an issue with hsr models since 1. the game runs beautifully on phone 2. the animations look great upclose (this is your point) LIKE CYRENES ANIMATIONS LOOK SO GOOD STILL She doesn't need a hyper detailed model like in genshin or zzz, IT WORKS !!

did they ever mention animations? this doesn't change the fact that hsr models look stiff af, animations and models are two different things... but i will give credit where it is due i prefer hsr *animation* the most in all of hoyo, it looks stunning and not too cluttered

I would hope the animations are good for a turn based with the least interactive gameplay out of all the turn based gachas. Unfortunately it isn't. Good vfx ≠ good animations.

It’s good, but I do think ZZZ just beat it by a bit. Animation is really animated and a lot of detail are fully modelled in rather then advanced bump textures which is kinda crazy

Listen, Im not a HI3 player or anything but any character there easily mogs HSR's animations. Sparkle's animations are just peak in HI3 compared to HSR. Also, model presentation doesn't matter when all it does is cover up the actual design. And concept execution is a completely

Yeah I may have quit but I’ll give HSR this It KNOWS its models and it amplifies their strengths instead of tryna do something they simply cant Of course that doesn’t mean they should slack off but the animators do well

I like zzz animations better tbh i don't find flashy vfx that amusing lol maybe because so many gacha game always try to top eachother on how flashy Thier vfx can be For me zzz animations style that focus more on smooth character movement than flashy effects are more impressive

I don't think you know what models mean cause out of Honkai nexus anima, Genshin and zzz it by far has the worst models 💀
