Building a robot dog? This ESP32 board was made for it. Petoi Biboard is an ESP32-based development board designed for multi-joint robots, with up to 12 PWM servo outputs built right in. It also includes an onboard IMU for balance and motion sensing, wireless connectivity, expansion interfaces and audio features. The BiBoard V1 adds features such as a voice command module, speaker and Raspberry Pi support. What makes it especially interesting is the software ecosystem. The board works with Petoi's open-source OpenCat framework, giving developers a solid starting point for building quadruped robots instead of creating everything from scratch. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. We are preparing a dedicated ATOM S3R Bust together with a magnetic bracket that holds the ATOM unit in place. The STL files for both will be released for free. Windows XP is just for fun, but the ATOM S3R itself can be programmed in C++ using the Arduino IDE to do considerably more useful things. You could give your Smart Doll a voice through ChatGPT or Xiaozhi AI, attach sensors such as cameras and environmental detectors, or experiment with practical applications such as fall detection and sending alerts when an elderly person at home may need assistance. New stuff you can do in Spline v2: Building a TSL material with texture atlases was surprisingly easy > A little 2D samurai running around. I gave Claude a 2D sprite sheet of a and asked it to generate the atlases, and the agent in Spline took care of writing a shader that runs the loop at the right speed and binds it all to the keyboard. An old-school game with the advantages of 3D. Super promising. This is really just the basics here (an Idle and a Run state) but you can add jumps and build on it.
