True. As a matter of fact, any organic fruits and vegetables you buy, if you save the seeds from them, you can grow them yourself. I have grown chili pepper flakes from Domino’s packets.

You can cut most vegetables in half and plant them if they aren’t F1 hybrids.

I haven't bought a tomato plant or even tomato seeds for over 7 years. Started this tomato patch from vivipary seeds and continued the process year after year with the tomatoes I picked from my garden. They get fatter and more "meaty" each season. Beefsteak, Better Boys and Roma, 7+ years.

Its deeper than that. Avacado bannana and tomato are all picked very early then exposed to gases to give the appearance of ripe. Everyone is being poisoned by the process.

Don't plant, or eat fruit from an American grocery store, unless it's organic, or it will be fake. Even some organic ones are fake like Cosmic Crisp Washington Apples for example. Instead, go to farmer's markets. They're everywhere, so don't think there's not one close by you.

Owned a restaurant, Florida tomatoes are known for never ripening but sprout seeds. During the winter months I threw out so many tomatoes that were full of sprouted seeds.

The tomatoes you get might not match the ones where the seeds came from however, since most of these are hybrids and they will often revert to the base tomato from the seeds.

thats pretty cool. im from a farm family and have never seen this before. little known fact, the leaves of the plant taste like the fruit of the plant as well. instead of lettuce and spinach, i would take the leaves of our pepper plants and use them. tasty without the spice.
