I read in 4 kings that out of Hearns, Hagler, and Leonard that Hearns was the one that Duran was intimidated by. It's funny that Duran looked so outmatched in this fight, yet he ran Hagler close and beat Leonard. I guess sometimes a fighter just has your number.

And that’s exactly why this era was so great. Hearns beat Duran, Hagler beat Duran and Hearns, Leonard beat Hagler, Duran beat Leonard, Leonard beat Duran and second time round Hearns should have got the decision against Leonard.

I think154 was the best weight for Tommy---even though he won titles at several weights.

Not many in history would have beaten him at that weight.

The Hitman was such a savage. Probably the coolest thing to ever happen to me, was getting to spend time at the Kronk when I was a teen. Tommy, even at that age was terrifying.
