The rest of the story is not all unions are great. In fact, a lot of them suck. Not all unions and their skills and training are needed in certain locales and types of labor. 50% of your wages go to hall. Unions devalue themselves getting political...for coercion. Unions can be violent and commit racketeering at times, unpunished. Everyone should have the right to work and right to join or not join a union. It's the American way

If union's are so beneficial, why would they be afraid of a unprotected "right to work" choice? Forced enrollment doesn't make stronger unions, freedom of choice does; when you have to compete, you have to be better. Union monopolies are never better. See: teacher's unions. Don't be afraid; be the best choice.
