Today is World Protein Day. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness among people to increase their protein intake. It's a bit of a long read. When I started my mission of “Protein Kidhar Hai?” back in 2018, I got backlash from many educated and literate people, saying I was pushing for whey companies and harming people's kidneys. However, to date, we haven’t seen anyone come to me saying your protein campaign put me on dialysis. Anyway, Today, after 6-7 years, I am seeing a significant change on X and other social media. I just released a video on YouTube explaining how much protein you really need, as well as how much your parents, your kids, and your significant others need. Today I am giving a 6 month deadline to Saffola to change their misleading peanut butter packaging. Saffola’s peanut butter says 31% protein RDA which clearly implies that people will get 31% of their daily protein needs from Saffola peanut butter. But in tiny font in the back on the package, they write the protein requirements mentioned are for 7-9 year olds. In order to make their protein content seem big, Saffola compares their protein content to a kid’s protein requirement since kids need lesser protein. A low protein diet is one of the major causes behind several Indian illnesses. Companies must market their protein content honestly because many Indians opt to have peanut butter to increase protein in their diet. I am giving Saffola 2 options: Option 1: Don’t make any changes and I might take legal action Option 2: Change your packaging and remove this 31% protein RDA claim and I will make a video praising you It is time for Indians to stand fearless and united against misleading ads which prompt us to eat junk food and lead unhealthy livestyles. #EndFalseMarketing

Chocos uses the biggest marketing gimmick I've ever seen in my life! Chocos combines the nutrition of 200ml of MILK in their nutrition label to make chocos seem healthier! For example, they write 9.2g of protein in the nutrition label. But 6.5g protein is coming from milk and only 2.7g protein is coming from Chocos! This is why Chocos uses "high protein" in their ads, even though the high protein is coming from milk not chocos. This marketing gimmick is used by Kellogg's for many of their other products like Cornflakes as well. Most packaged cereals have too much added sugar! While they market themselves as a "breakfast", they are closer to a "Dessert". I recommend all Indians to not consume these sugary packaged cereals as their breakfast, but instead opt for something healthier like Idli, Upma, Chila, Poha! I also suggest Kellogg's to not send me a legal notice for this video, and instead focus your energy on improving your marketing!

Parents and family play the primary role in a child’s grooming, behaviour and conduct. School (teachers and staff) comes in secondary, and more commonly serve to correct and fix the poorly groomed children(from their respective homes) Less than a month ago, a parent at Lubiri SS humiliated a teacher who had tried to discipline a student. The parent forced this teacher to apologise to the student infront of other students! Today, still parents are blaming this school for their own children’s sick behaviour! The double standards here are unmatched! Let’s agree that we have failed on parenthood, and passing the blame to other people is an extremly nonsensical idea!

Proof that Life is Intelligently Designed: Proteins. They do everything in your cells that keeps you alive. These microscopic molecules must have been created. Here is why: Proteins are the building blocks of all the little nano-machines that make up your cells. They do all the major work in your body - from creating energy to recycling waste. Proteins are made from amino acids connected into a specific sequence and then folded into a functional shape. You can think of a protein like a paragraph, and amino acids as the individual letters that spell out the words. Here is where it gets interesting... There are just 20 amino acids used in all of Life. Just 20 amino acids. Responsible for ~200 million unique proteins making up tens of thousands of cell types across Life. And scientists are constantly finding new ones. Scientists categorize proteins into Families. Protein Families are groups of proteins that share amino acid sequence similarities. There are ~22,000 Protein Families. Here's the part that screams they are designed... Protein Families have no evolutionary history. Even evolutionist scientists agree - they are absolutely unique. It's been said that proteins are like stars in a galaxy, and families are like galaxies, with vast empty space between them. Evolution is supposed to build by tweaking things that already exist. But no evolutionary history connects fundamentally distinct protein families. Experiments have been done to intentionally evolve one protein family into another. They fail every time. One protein family cannot be evolved into another. They cannot arise through evolution. But the math really makes it impossible... The odds of evolution finding even a single functional protein family is 1 chance in 10^77 possible amino acid sequences. That's a 1 with 77 zeroes. The odds of evolution finding 22,000 distinct protein families? Roughly 1 chance in 10^1,694,000. You don't need to be a mathematician to understand that this is impossible. Evolution works by random mutations tweaking what's already there. But protein families can't evolve from one another. And the math makes it absolutely absurd to believe. Monkeys banging on keyboards will never type out Shakespeare. And random mutations in sequences of amino acids could never create a single functional protein family. There is only one thing we know of that creates functionally specified sequences: Intelligence. Now here is the final cherry on top: Proteins are built by other proteins, assembled into a complex machine to do a job in cells. The assembly instructions for those proteins and the machines are found in DNA. But DNA requires protein machines for replication & repair. So DNA is required to make Proteins... ...but Proteins are required to make DNA *and* more Proteins. You can't have one without the other. They rely on each other. Which means one couldn't have evolved and then waited for the other. They couldn't do anything without each other. They had to be created at the same time to function together. Life was Divinely Designed. Proteins prove it.

Many protein powders contain potentially concerning amounts of lead, a heavy metal you don’t want to be exposing yourself to daily. More than 65% of brands tested in a recent Consumer Reports analysis exceeded their “concerning” threshold (0.5 µg/day). Very few had undetectable levels in a single serving. Plant-based powders (e.g., pea protein) were the worst offenders: on average they contained 9x the lead of dairy-based proteins and 2x the lead of beef-based proteins. Some have criticized the threshold as conservative, but the bottom line is simple: any chronic daily lead exposure is undesirable. I’m not saying everyone must stop using protein powders. But if a powder is your primary protein source, it’s reasonable to ask whether the convenience is worth the added exposure compared with whole foods. If you do use powders, prefer whey and choose products that are third-party tested (NSF certified or equivalent) to reduce the risk of contamination.

Protein timing and distribution are important, but not more important than simply eating enough protein. This doesn’t mean timing is irrelevant. Spreading protein relatively evenly across the day is a reasonable strategy for maximizing opportunities to stimulate muscle protein synthesis. But emerging evidence challenges the idea that the body can only “use” 25-30 grams of protein at a time. In one study, researchers compared 25 g vs. 100 g of protein after exercise. The 100-g dose produced a greater and more prolonged increase in muscle protein synthesis, with very little of the additional amino acids being oxidized. The extra protein wasn’t simply “wasted.” Larger protein meals take longer to digest and absorb, extending the period during which amino acids are available to support tissue protein synthesis. Practically, consuming your daily protein across 2-3 larger meals is not inherently inferior simply because individual meals contain far more than 25-30 grams.

The extra protein wasn’t simply “wasted.” Larger protein meals take longer to digest and absorb, extending the period during which amino acids are available to support tissue protein synthesis. Practically, consuming your daily protein across 2-3 larger meals is not inherently inferior simply because individual meals contain far more than 25-30 grams.
