This video exposes the cold, hard truth about LeBron stat-padding last season. The media were quick to talk about him leading the league in fast break points (5.8 ppg) — but they didn’t explain how he did it. This isn’t “LeBron hate” as it’s a fair criticism. ESPN wouldn’t... talk about it, so Lakers fans had to. There’s no other way to dress it up — LeBron repeatedly took defensive possessions off and cherry-picked in order to inflate his averages. Furthermore, it ruins team chemistry because if the supposed ‘leader’ is doing this, role-players will follow — He chose stats over winning basketball. That’s why Rob Pelinka sent him packing. This was all-game, every-game. If you’re going to call yourself the “GOAT” — You can’t cheat the game. Period.show more

Gilbert Arenas on Lakers 6 game winning streak: “We showing you what the playoff team looks like. You would think the Lakers are in 9th or 10th, the way they talk about our team like this. Like, who’s team is it, should AR start, LeBron this, go to the corner or who this, this is the record when they losing and winning it. Like, listen if y’all don’t want to talk about OKC and the Spurs every day because nobody going to watch, don’t disrespect the Lakers like this.” (Via Gil’s Arena)

Stephen A Smith GOES IN on LeBron saying he gets sh*tted on in the GOAT debate: “That is where the problem lies. What we don’t talk about enough is as great as LeBron James is, we don’t talk about what he has done to hurt, not the game, but narratives associated with the game…. If your name is in the conversation it’s because you’re an all time great! But when it comes to LeBron James, oh no. You’re pooping on the player. You’re dogging them. It’s the negativity.” (Via First Take)

Anthony Davis on the Bubble .. “LeBron made the decision to stay, we called it the LeBubble” Majority of players didn’t even care for the bubble, LeBron cared for it the most, the same guy who said “I’ll never play without fans” chose to play without fans, why? Because it was an easy chip. No one cared to play. Remember they were off for 4 months leading into the bubble, some players didn’t even show up due to covid. But LeBron called it a hard ring and he also had his wife there too. The fakest and easiest ring, of course belongs to LeBron James… everything about this guy is misleading …

Anytime anyone ask me why I talk about Lebron James Stans so much, I’ll send them this video. They don’t have to listen to it but here it is. Lebron James Stans ruined the conversations surrounding the NBA. Its no longer about appreciating ballers, it’s all about disparaging players to boost another. It’s a cancer and it’s destroying the love of the game. We’ve never seen anything like this as wide spread as this disease is nowadays. I’m tired of it.

Amar’e Stoudemire said LeBron was probably harder to play against because of his explosiveness… But Kobe was harder to guard because there was no weakness. That’s the difference. With LeBron, the game plan was: back off, make him shoot, live with it. With Kobe? You couldn’t back off. You couldn’t force him left/right. You couldn’t bait the turnaround. You couldn’t take away one thing and survive. Everything you wanted him to do, he already mastered. That’s why defenders talk about Kobe differently. Kobe didn’t just beat the game plan, he erased it.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: The triangle offense was basketball with PURPOSE, the Bulls and Lakers had counters to everything the defense did. It was a game of chess for them. But this type of offense sacrifices stats for Kobe and Jordan since they are not creating all the plays and getting assists. Even though it’s their amazing scoring threat that directly opens up all the shots for everyone else, it didn’t show up on the boxscore. To the untrained eye who just looks at the boxscore, it will make you think LeBron is an AMAZING playmaker, but in reality Bron has never played in a true system. He has been the system, because thats the only way he knows how to play. He plays ACCIDENTAL basketball and drives and kicks all game to rack up assists. But this is not WINNING basketball. It is very predictable and usually results in Bron getting locked up come playoff time. This type of basketball is low level hoops, kids in the playgrounds play like that. So next time some idiot on this app says, “Jordan and Kobe were not good playmakers”- show them this video. If Kobe and Jordan had the ball on top of the 3 EVERY possession and drove and kicked all game they would average a triple double. But they wouldn’t win.. They chose winning over cheap stat padding ✌🏻

Lou Williams on playing with Kobe Bryant: “It was a eye opening experience because he showed me not everybody took basketball as serious as I thought they did. He was dead serious about hoop. He was militant about his approach to basketball. The way he saw the game. The way he broke it down and the lens he saw it from. He was breaking down the game in 5 minute increments. In this 5 minutes this what the game supposed to look like. The next 3 minutes this what it’s supposed to look like. He was breaking the game down different” (Via Out The Mud Podcast)

When LeBron was spotted with The Fall Off vinyl by J. Cole, Twitter immediately called it “performative” They had ZERO idea what actually happened The real story? Cole had invited LeBron to a Heat game not for clout, but so LeBron could meet Cole’s kids. His oldest son had been begging to attend a Lakers game ALL season. LeBron didn’t just show up. He brought the vinyl himself so Cole could sign it for his son. No cameras. No press. Just a GOAT doing something genuinely kind for a kid who looked up to him. They just be hating on him

Patrick Beverley says the media killed Russell Westbrook’s game: “I think the media is so strong that it allowed fans to call him names. It allowed fans to have opinions about his game, which also forced team owners, GMs, presidents to look at him a certain way. When you talk about guards that’s in the NBA and it’s no disrespect to guys that’s on current teams but when you talk about you see Lonnie Walker and it’s no disrespect to Lonnie Walker he’s a good friend of mine but if he can make a NBA team Russell Westbrook can make an NBA team without a doubt.” (Via Patrick Beverley)

LeBron says the only way to stop SGA is to keep him off the FT line. Compares it to Houston James Harden 😬 “You got to keep him off the FT line. Which is hard. He knows how to manipulate the game in a good way. He’s always looking for hands, arms, and elbows if you’re in his space, that’s just our game right now. It’s how James Harden was when he was dominant in Houston.” (Via Mind the Game)

Shannon Sharpe GOES OFF on Rob Pelinka 😳 “What I don’t understand for the life of me, Joe, you remember when they was in the bubble, somebody said, “What’s y’all game plan for Russ?” Let him shoot. They said, “Let him shoot.” And then the next year, what they do? They go sign the guy they said, “We going to let him shoot.” Make it make sense now. See, now y’all done pissed me off. Let’s be all the way real. If Rob Pelinka was not Kobe’s agent, does he have that job? But y’all don’t want to talk about that. All you want to talk about, well, LeBron got his son on his team. LeBron handpicked this. Let’s have a real conversation. I got time today.” (Via Nightcap)

Tayshaun Prince explains the biggest difference between guarding Kobe Bryant and LeBron James “Kobe and LeBron were completely different.” “With Kobe, you had to keep him away from his sweet spots.” “It was all about rhythm.” “He knew exactly where he wanted to get on the floor.” “He’d wear you down all game so he could get to those spots in the fourth quarter.” “With LeBron, it was different.” “You had to fight through 100, maybe 150 pick-and-rolls.” “They were trying to wear you down all game.” “Then in the fourth quarter…” “LeBron would get into his package.”

I use my page to talk about mentality a lot because the game has declined due to the soft mindset of today’s players. Kobe was the last of a breed who treated EVERY game like it was his LAST. His body broke down because he never took a night off and respected the fans. The All-Star Game becoming a joke is the result of players not caring about basketball, taking no pride in the product, and only caring about their paycheck/personal brand. Kob NEVER cheated the game. He NEVER ducked competition. He is forever LOVED because of it 🐍🙏

Draymond Green calls out NBA fans for celebrating Russell Westbrook now after the way they treated him poorly the past few years: “Basketball fans suck. And by the way, I am a basketball fan, so you can throw me in that category, too. But basketball fans suck. Because for the last 8 to 10 years, all this guy has heard is how bad he sucks, how he don’t shoot it well, how he stat pad, and how he mess up teams. And when you’re in this game and that’s all you see, that’s all you hear, you power through it. You fight through it because that’s who we are. That’s what we do. But man, that sh*t is irritating and it bothers you. Make no mistake about it. West brick and all the things y’all said about him. And the moment he step aside, oh man, y’all did Russ wrong. Can’t tell me he couldn’t be on the team. What? How, wow how he played the game. Gonna miss him and not in the NBA. All these great beautiful things. Why can’t we feel that when you going?” (via The Draymond Green Show)

VIDEO: MUST WATCH until the end!! LeBron in the last 48 hours: - Bragged about his stats to fans in a game vs the tanking Dallas Mavericks (LeBron lost) - While bragging suggested that his statistical output diminishing was because “they” put him on the shelf - Contradicted that statement the next day on his podcast by saying that he was the one who suggested that Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic not defer so much to him offensively - Campaigned for Shai Gilgeous Alexander to win MVP - Decided to duck OKC tonight (after electing to play the tanking Mavs) in a crucial matchup for playoff seeding because it would negatively affect his stats What separates the greatest to ever play the game from LeBron is that they had a killer instinct, put winning above stats, stuck up for their teammates, didn’t need to manipulate narratives in the media, and they were willing to meet any challenge. He is officially eliminated from Top 10 discussions. (Mind the Game)

Jeanie Buss on how the Luka Doncic trade went down: “Dallas wanted Anthony Davis and he was on our team. Conversations started but it was important they remained private…. Those conversations started in the beginning of January… Rob Pelinka was able to pull it off all without it leaking to the media because I think Mark Cuban would’ve jumped in front of a train to keep it from happening. Nobody knew including Luka, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James. We had a game in New York that night, the coach knew this was going to happen but he still had to coach the game. It wasn’t a distraction” (Via
