This video from #Trishuli Bazaar, dated August 26, shows the flood waves passing right beside Viral’s house before crashing directly into Raju Gupta’s five storey home. Viral’s house was slightly shielded by the mountain and a diversion, reducing the direct impact. Raju Gupta house, however, took the full force... of the flood and has been completely destroyed, while Viral’s structurally stronger house is still standing. If you watch the wider shots, it becomes even clearer. Just upstream of this house, in the direction of the river’s flow, there was a raised rocky outcrop or bend. When the main surge of debris came rushing down, it struck that obstacle and was diverted. The full force of the flood split and rushed past both sides of the house instead of hitting it head-on—possibly saving it from a direct impact. In many other videos, that rocky rise or bend can be seen clearly. Was it nature? Was it science? Or was it God’s plan? I’ll leave that for you to decide.

That's what I have been saying, there are lot of factors in play, luck too. But, however good is the construction, had the green house been taking direct force of the flood, good luck then. No architecture can survive this much force, imo
