This video game doesn't utilise any ray tracing, but still looks absolutely stunning! I can't believe it runs this buttery smooth with such heavy foliage at max graphics.

A Plague Tale is a phenomenal game, wait until you see what they did in the sequel!

I heard the sequel has more action and more open spaces

It is yes, in a good way It was a satisfying improvement from technical to story

Idk why people conflate good visuals with Ray Tracing. We had stunning visuals before Ray Tracing, games do not need it to look good. And nobody is saying they do. However, global illumination, and real time reflections ARE good visual additives, and do make games look better.

True

Yes, you can do a lot in a completely non-explorable pathway in a linear game. Very simple to set up lighting so a slow walker can slow walk through it to get to the next cutscene.

All that ray tracing crap just jacked up GPU costs and is nothing at all for gaming imo.

Farcry 6 did better folliage considering its actually open world.

And it runs on my rtx 3050 laptop on ultra with 60 fps , just wow

Exactly, I have everything maxed and still getting like 100

Ray tracing was an unnecessary edition. They could of worked on dynamic physics among other things

what game?

this game is pure magic !! what an adventure it was both parts

2019 game btw

Damn

I wanna go there ngl

It's an area without much happening, fixed time of day, etc.

Raytracing is the biggest scam ever. Shitty fuzzy shadows advertised as the next big thing, eating up tons of performance while delivering no visual improvement. Fun fact: KCD2 doesn't have RT either, and it's abolutely gorgeous. And runs great, too btw.

C’est la structure linéaire du jeu qui permet cela

sieht man

Pity it’s an absolute bore fest

Looks so beautiful
