This scene from Gaza today will be used by propagandists to show the fake plight of the Gazans. But these aren’t victims. These are the same people who cheered in the streets of Gaza as hostages and dead bodies were paraded on Oct 7. These are the same people who cheered and celebrated as the bodies of Kfir and Ariel were paraded in caskets a few weeks ago. Today, the families of those who were killed had gathered demanding justice, saying the Taliban had killed their innocent family members. I can't stop thinking about the fact that the people who have been insisting on safe spaces for a decade, who melt down from being "misgendered," who think "words are violence" and everything requires "trigger warnings" are now laughing at the public execution of a human being, mocking those who are grieving including Kirk's own family and are acting as if they are prepared to wage a war? Will they wage it from their safe spaces? How?
