𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 “𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗲𝗻” 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴! While I deeply appreciate Imam Abu Hanifah & have gained valuable insights from the Hanafi fiqh, as well as the other three schools of thought, those familiar with me understand the intensity of my reaction when scholars such as Imam Abu Hanifah & others are attacked & spoken ill of. What you see in the video is not only ignorant & foolish but also reflects a lack of understanding of fiqh. This behaviour is truly appalling. Even within the Hanafi madhab, engaging in such actions is unequivocally incorrect & it invalidates your prayer, the only exemptions of cutting the prayer are in exceptional circumstances. 𝗜𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗾𝗵 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 – meaning the scholar who holds a different view – in challenging his own established argument, which he had employed to assert a different point of view, this in Fiqh is referred to as مراعاة الخلاف. Ibn Abideen the hanafi scholar said; “𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻.” This important concept of Fiqh has been cited by many of the scholars of the 4 madhabs and It is one of the principles upon which Malik built his Madhab on as mentioned by scholars such as Ibn Rushd, wansarisi، Ibn Arafa, Shaatibi & others. Ibn Taymiyyah says; “As for those who may differ with you on subsidiary Fiqhi matters such as the followers of Abu Hanifa, Malik, and Ash-Shafi'i, performing prayers behind them is 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 & 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗱. This was emphasised by Ahmad because the Companions and their Successors 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗾𝗵𝗶 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀. Additionally, because the opponent is either correct in his interpretation, earning rewards for his interpretation and correctness, or mistaken, still receiving rewards for his effort without incurring sin for the mistake”. Closing remarks. If you happen to be in a locality where a group of people behave like this, then my advice is to implement the principle of “𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝘀”, this is what Ibn Baaz said when asked about refraining from saying “Ameen” loudly. And I quote: "Yes, it is allowed. If one is amongst a congregation where they do not raise their voices nor recite aloud, it is preferable that you 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 do so to maintain harmony with them. This way, they can be gently guided towards the right path, educated, fostering better relations among them. If u were to differ with them, they might condemn you due to the view they have of not raising the hands (excluding the opening Takbir) as they have learned & practiced it from their scholars. Similarly, not reciting aloud during the prayer is a well-known difference of opinion among scholars. Some say it is recommended to recite aloud, while others say it is not necessary. Some narrations indicate that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ raised his voice during prayer, while others indicate he kept silent However, the preferred opinion is to recite aloud, as it is a recommended practice. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 amongst believers; hence, a believer refrains from performing a recommended act that might lead to discord and turmoil, especially if forsaking it serves a greater good. This is exemplified in Prophet ﷺ’s choice of not rebuilding the Kaaba according to the original structure of Ibrahim, since Quraysh had recently embraced Islam, & did not want to disturb the harmony for the greater good." #AtWrites

While I deeply appreciate Imam Abu Hanifah & have gained valuable insights from the Hanafi fiqh, as well as the other three schools of thought, those familiar with me understand the intensity of my reaction when scholars such as Imam Abu Hanifah & others are attacked & spoken ill of. What you see in the video is not only ignorant & foolish but also reflects a lack of understanding of fiqh. This behaviour is truly appalling. Even within the Hanafi madhab, engaging in such actions is unequivocally incorrect & it invalidates your prayer, the only exemptions of cutting the prayer are in exceptional circumstances. 𝗜𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗾𝗵 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 – meaning the scholar who holds a different view – in challenging his own established argument, which he had employed to assert a different point of view, this in Fiqh is referred to as مراعاة الخلاف. Ibn Abideen the hanafi scholar said; “𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻.” This important concept of Fiqh has been cited by many of the scholars of the 4 madhabs and It is one of the principles upon which Malik built his Madhab on as mentioned by scholars such as Ibn Rushd, wansarisi، Ibn Arafa, Shaatibi & others. Ibn Taymiyyah says; “As for those who may differ with you on subsidiary Fiqhi matters such as the followers of Abu Hanifa, Malik, and Ash-Shafi'i, performing prayers behind them is 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 & 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗱. This was emphasised by Ahmad because the Companions and their Successors 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗾𝗵𝗶 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀. Additionally, because the opponent is either correct in his interpretation, earning rewards for his interpretation and correctness, or mistaken, still receiving rewards for his effort without incurring sin for the mistake”. Closing remarks. If you happen to be in a locality where a group of people behave like this, then my advice is to implement the principle of “𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝘀”, this is what Ibn Baaz said when asked about refraining from saying “Ameen” loudly. And I quote: "Yes, it is allowed. If one is amongst a congregation where they do not raise their voices nor recite aloud, it is preferable that you 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 do so to maintain harmony with them. This way, they can be gently guided towards the right path, educated, fostering better relations among them. If u were to differ with them, they might condemn you due to the view they have of not raising the hands (excluding the opening Takbir) as they have learned & practiced it from their scholars. Similarly, not reciting aloud during the prayer is a well-known difference of opinion among scholars. Some say it is recommended to recite aloud, while others say it is not necessary. Some narrations indicate that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ raised his voice during prayer, while others indicate he kept silent However, the preferred opinion is to recite aloud, as it is a recommended practice. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 amongst believers; hence, a believer refrains from performing a recommended act that might lead to discord and turmoil, especially if forsaking it serves a greater good. And besides, who really has the luxury to leave? Think of vegetable vendors, auto drivers, daily-wage workers, and lakhs of families living hand-to-mouth. The point wasn’t to negotiate in front of the world or sign something, like Trump did with Armenia and Azerbaijan—minor players, important only tactically. The point was to send a signal: the presidents of Russia and the U.S. are shaking hands and smiling again, no knives behind their backs. This signals that a new reality has arrived, one that Europe, Ukraine, and everyone accustomed to building their worldview around the idea of “Russia’s isolation” will now have to reckon with—including those within our own countries. Trump’s comments on Fox News were deliberately vague—he’s a master at leaving room for maneuver. But the key takeaway is clear: the pressure will now shift from Moscow to Kyiv and Brussels. This is evident even in the final format—not a word about a “no-conditions” ceasefire, which was Europe and Zelensky’s main demand. This means the discussion on a final peace has been postponed, but within a clear framework: Zelensky must exit the war in a way that lets Europe save face. Russia’s red lines have long been clear: non-aligned status for Ukraine, return of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions within their administrative borders (not the frontlines), lifting of sanctions, and real democracy in Ukraine without persecution of the Russian language or the Orthodox Church. These conditions will prolong the conflict for some time. Zelensky will need to stage a fighting retreat to the administrative borders—this will allow Europe to save face. When History Warns Us, We Must Not Ignore It We never expected the Chief Minister of Keralam to take such a position under any circumstances. But on this issue, we need to look back at history. Because the people of Keralam have every right to ask: whose political pressure is behind this decision of the Chief Minister? When we examine the history of Vande Mataram, one thing becomes clear. This is not a political issue that emerged yesterday. During India’s freedom struggle, Vande Mataram became a symbol of national consciousness and the spirit of freedom for millions of Indians. The Muslim League was formed in 1906. During the 1930s, opposition to certain portions of Vande Mataram became increasingly prominent among sections of Muslim political leadership, including the Muslim League. In 1937, the Congress moved towards adopting the first two stanzas of Vande Mataram for official occasions. This remains an important episode in our history. But one thing must be made absolutely clear. This is not an allegation against the Muslim community. Many Muslims participated wholeheartedly in India’s freedom struggle and sang Vande Mataram as part of the national movement. Therefore, today’s debate is not against any religion. It is a debate about political positions concerning nationalism. But history also raises another important question. In 1937, political opposition emerged over the use of Vande Mataram. Subsequently, the politics demanding the partition of India became stronger, and ultimately, in 1947, the country was divided. That is why, when in 2026 a position is being taken in Keralam that Vande Mataram need not be sung, a natural question arises: Where will such political compromises take us? What will the state of Keralam’s national consciousness be ten years from now? If we begin making political compromises over one national symbol today, what will prevent similar compromises on other national symbols tomorrow? That is the question Keralam needs to debate today. We have even witnessed situations where a teacher faced serious consequences merely because a question about Veer Savarkar was included in a quiz competition. When a historical figure, an idea, or a national song becomes subject to political pressure, it should concern every democratic society. That is why the BJP is bringing Muhammad Ali Jinnah into this discussion today. This is not a discussion about one individual. It is not a discussion about one religion. Nor is it a discussion against any community. It is a discussion about the future of nationalism. If we want to ensure that history does not repeat itself, we must learn from history. Those who say today that Vande Mataram need not be sung—who can guarantee that tomorrow they will not question another national symbol? If we continue surrendering our national values to political pressure, what we ultimately stand to lose will not merely be the words of a song—it will be our sense of national unity. Therefore, our message to the Chief Minister of Keralam is very clear: Do not surrender nationalism to political pressure. No one needs anyone’s permission to sing Vande Mataram in Keralam. Every Indian has the right to embrace this national song, which inspired the freedom struggle of our country. Even if you do not sing it, Keralam will sing it. Even if you exclude it from government programmes, the BJP will ensure that Vande Mataram and the National Anthem are sung across Keralam. Because the Bharatiya Janata Party will stand at the forefront to protect the national consciousness of this land. As long as Narendra Modi leads this country, we will not allow politics opposed to India’s unity and integrity to take root on this soil. There will be no compromise on nationalism in Keralam. When history warns us, we must not ignore it. We must learn from history. We must not allow history to repeat itself. Even if you exclude it from government programmes, the BJP will ensure that Vande Mataram and the National Anthem are sung across Keralam. Because the Bharatiya Janata Party will stand at the forefront to protect the national consciousness of this land. Yet, 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀, mostly from the poorest and most marginalized communities, are 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 without even basic protective gear. To clean sewage. Filled with human waste. Laced with toxic gases. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲. Every year, hundreds of workers die while doing this job. A job that is 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱. But this can’t continue. We need 100% 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, without burdening workers. We need municipalities to partner with private innovators to co-develop 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 that can navigate narrow lanes and older systems. And most importantly, we need 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲. --------------------------- Sadly, such a critical issue has almost vanished from mainstream media discussions. ------------------------------ As Acharya Prashant repeatedly reminds us, people need to awaken to these truths. He carries scars of betrayal, bruises of deception, and the memory of those who weaponised proximity. A wise man learns to discern between a handshake of unity and a handshake of hypocrisy. This sort of situation isn’t new. Indeed, I have seen this exact scene - a white person being assaulted by a group of people (most or all being black and/or ethnic minority) but somehow ending up being the only person to get into trouble - play out previously. It happens to police officers who are assaulted too, btw, not just members of the public. This is why I sometimes find it difficult to criticise policing (or at least, frontline policing and the Federated ranks), because I know how difficult the Job is for frontline officers, and I also know that even when they are assaulted, the Job will throw them under a bus if the circumstances are convenient. But, the repeated examples of this behaviour are inexcusable and clearly policing has reached a point of no return - the murder of Henry Nowak was probably that point. Though, you could argue that the cover up of the Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs - which goes as far back as the 1960s and the supposed halcyon days of policing - was when policing truly failed ordinary people (we just didn’t know it then). Serious reform and a return to Peelian policing is required. At present, however, there just doesn’t appear to be the political will to do what is required.

🚨 THE MOOD OF BRITAIN IS HARDENING For months, the political establishment insisted the anger was isolated. A fringe issue. A handful of voices online. Now protests are appearing in multiple cities and the conversation is no longer confined to Belfast. Something is changing. Many people believe their concerns about immigration, public safety, community cohesion and the future direction of the country have been ignored for too long. Worse still, many feel they have been dismissed as racists, extremists or troublemakers simply for raising those concerns. That approach may be backfiring. Because every time politicians attack the people raising concerns instead of addressing the concerns themselves, public trust erodes a little further. The greatest danger facing the government is not the protests. It is the growing belief among millions of people that nobody in power is listening. History shows that when trust in institutions begins to collapse, events can move much faster than politicians expect. The question is whether those in power recognise what is happening before the gap between the governing class and the governed becomes even wider. Because the mood of the country is changing. And increasingly, people are no longer afraid to say so.

Because both he and his entourage could face criminal liability for the enormous schemes that exist within the Ministry of Defense involving drones and missiles. That is the difficult situation we are facing right now.
