This video (warning, extreme content) is something Andrew Tate himself recorded. The resurgent right cannot be successful if it’s trying to accommodate someone like this, who has shown no repentance.

There is something seriously wrong with him. Why would any Christian support him?

Tate seems to be a narcissistic psychopath, and is an embarrassment to all reasonable men everywhere. Anybody on the Right who promotes him is either an amoral idiot, or a Fed trying to discredit the Right.

This is what I’ve been saying the entire time @megbasham. Many on the right have this desire to be accepted, and that desire at times allows really dark people to get into the coalition. These troglodytes are interlopers, grifting on the anti-establishment nature of the right. All someone has to do is say “look at me I’m being held down by the system for promoting traditional” whatever and (some) people flock to it. You end up with unrepentant abusive anti-woman sexists like Tate or unapologetic racists or anti-semites masquerading as friends and allies cause “the system hates me too”! And because so many folks are naive to the game that these dark forces are playing with them, they fall for it. Just being “anti-establishment” alone is not (or shouldn’t be) good enough. When you look at people like Tate (and others), that’s a glimpse of what the right would look like if it was completely and totally Godless. That cannot happen.

I don’t even understand it. What value does he bring? He’s not an interesting thinker. He makes no insightful arguments about anything. He’s just a chest-beating pig.

But Benny Johnson needs clicks and views, though.

I think we need to contemplate the possibility that some of the people accommodating and platforming Tate actually admire and envy him. Which is terrifying.

No repentance but an immense amount of pride

Andrew Tate appeals to men of low intelligence.

As a dad to two girls and a son, this makes my blood boil. My son is a devout Christian man, so I don’t have to worry but if anyone ever treated one of my girls like this, I would probably end up doing prison ministry. He is deeply disturbed. For the life of me, I cannot understand the appeal. Anyone that watches this guy and actually likes him probably needs to seek professional counseling.

He’s obviously toxic but as you say so many on the “right” make excuses or embrace him. There are deluded people on the right and the left but what’s worse is when self professed Christians champion someone like this. That’s my concern.
