It’s really challenging to even get that approximately correct. The attempt to rig our election rules in favour of a two party duopoly are back on the table with Labor and liberal teaming up to be the Coles and Woolies of politics in Australia. Don't get me wrong, there IS some actual good stuff in this bill, but they as always they sneak in some stuff that rigs the rules in their own favour while passing much needed financial donation disclosure stuff. Is it too much to ask to just pass the good stuff everyone agrees on first? THEN if they really think their rule rigging is better for everyday Aussie punters they can try convince us rather than ram it through. #australia

My heart hurts watching this. My kids are doing everything they are supposed to do. Working. Showing up. Trying. And still watching their hours disappear. Still stressed about things kids should not have to carry this early. What hurts the most is knowing it is not just them. It is their friends too. An entire generation trying to get a foothold and finding the ground slipping underneath them. I worry about them. About the pressure they are under. About the future they are being handed. They are not lazy. They are not entitled. They are trying. And I think every parent feels this right now, even if we do not always say it out loud. All I want is for them to have a fair chance.
