I met with Crown Prince Haakon of Norway. The Crown Prince began his first visit to Ukraine by visiting a rehabilitation center in Irpin. I am grateful for this meaningful gesture of attention and support for our people. During the meeting, we discussed strengthening energy resilience. We appreciate the $450 million contribution of Norway to Ukraine's energy security. We also touched on deepening cultural ties between our nations and investment in the defense sector. There is strong potential in all these areas. I thank Norway and the Norwegian people for their continued support of Ukraine and their help in protecting lives.

I am grateful for supporting Ukraine and organizing today’s meetings – the online meeting of leaders and the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing. Today, we have a new support package for Ukraine, and the most important element of it is the Swedish Gripen fighter jets, which will strengthen our air force. Overall, this year, next year, and our future cooperation are all about building Ukraine’s fleet of Swedish Gripens. This will help us guarantee the security of Ukraine and Ukrainians. Today, the Ulf Kristersson and I also discussed the details of our cooperation across all other areas. I briefed him on the situation in Ukraine – on the battlefield and in our defense against Russian strikes. We need our own European antiballistic capabilities in sufficient quantity and with sufficient strength. I met today with Latvia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže. I presented her with the Order of Merit, II class, for her significant personal contribution to strengthening our cooperation and supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. I am grateful for all the assistance to our people, for the visit, and especially for her trip to Chernihiv. It is extremely important for us when partners personally visit such places and support the reconstruction of our schools and kindergartens. We discussed defense support. Estonia will expand security investment in ammunition production over the next years, which is important. Dozens of partner countries will participate, including those who can help boost our capabilities not only to defend against missiles but also against guided bombs and Russian aviation. I met with the heads of parliamentary delegations who came to Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of the liberation of Bucha and took part in the Bucha Summit. This summit is very important for us and for the world — to ensure that what is happening in Ukraine is not forgotten. The key topics of discussion were Ukraine’s integration into the European Union, defense cooperation, the restoration of justice, and the negotiation process aimed at achieving a dignified peace. Ukraine’s membership in the European Union is a fundamental security guarantee for all of Europe, and our expertise in protecting lives can become the basis for systematic work in defense production. Thank you for this visit and for the support of your countries, governments, leaders, and peoples. I am sincerely grateful that, from the very beginning of this war, we felt that we were not alone because of you.
