@retro_twt Animation is an art craft, it doesn't get inherently better with better technology. It depends almost entirely on the craftsman. Would you say we make better marble statues than the renaissance??

@retro_twt Hand drawn and painted animation if every kind looks better than CGI. 1980s and 90s anime is something else, we didnt know how good we had it.. FWIW i feel the same way about film over digtal film, and practical effects being used over CGI unless its absolutely necessary.
