In its decision, the judge refused bail and ordered that the trial proceed before the same judge, in whom we have no trust. The Press Club authorities did not grant permission to hold the press conference inside the hall. After many attempts to secure permission failed, the families held their press conference outside the building. Even there, the police attempted to disrupt the event by pushing reporters and journalists away to prevent media coverage. Despite these obstacles and police interference, the families remained steadfast and continued their press conference outside the Press Club. This reflects a situation similar to undeclared martial law in Pakistan, where even families are not allowed to hold a peaceful press conference. International human rights organizations must take notice of these actions and hold Pakistan accountable for these serious violations of fundamental civil and human rights. This is a message to the state authorities: such suppression cannot stop the Baloch nation from standing against injustice.
