@Oluchiisxn If that were my biologically son, I’d let him live his life happily and try to be part of it. In a few years, he’ll be an adult. There’s no reason to take away a loving and caring family that’s cared for him his whole life.

@Oluchiisxn Nobody asked the child what he wanted. Nobody considered what was best for him

@Oluchiisxn If that were my biological son, I wouldn’t destroy the only love and family he’s ever known just to satisfy my title as a parent.

@Oluchiisxn Nah fuck that why don’t they ask the kid what he wants it’s his fucking life

@Oluchiisxn "You guys looking for Tyler, cause the way he played second base was a crime" got me😂😂😂.

I'd make that mans life a living hell if I was the kid in the boys place. I'd never talk to him, I'd lock myself in the room I'm forced to live in, I'd learn to cook and do my own laundry. Nothing he could do, NOTHING, would make me call him Dad. To me he might be my biological parent, but my Father was the man he stole me from, he's a sick bastard to me. You have kids, I don't want you. Might be friendly with my siblings but then I'd admiting they are. I want my parents not some sperm donor. More then likely there will be some court people checking in on me and I'm gonna make sure that they known I'm not thriving, I am standing my ground to keep this creep at bay. He'll give up real fucking fast . Plus if I recall at 16 in New York I likely could get Emancipation, that or just leech off the guy until I'm 18 and go back to my actual parents. Living hell, I do not want him and I never will. Give me back to my parents then I'll like you, but I never want to see you again.

@Oluchiisxn You can legally file for defacto parentage if you have raised a child for the majority of their life and it can actually nullify biological parental rights. Ask me how I know 😉

Tearing a child away from the only family they've ever known is not in the best interest of a child. My question would be, why does the biological father want him? The man doesn't even know the kid. Why not just visit the kid or get weekends with the kid? Why not let the child build a Relationship with the biological father while still living with the adoptive parents...

@Oluchiisxn Realizing it's a fictional "story", but the bio parent is NOT acting in the best interests of his kid. He is acting is HIS perceived best interests.

@Oluchiisxn What’s in the best interest of the child would be for him to stay with his adopted parents and have a relationship with his biological family and when he is ready and old enough can decide where to live. That judgement was in the best interests of the bio dad not the child

@Oluchiisxn They could have just shared custody so he could know his biological family and grandparents as well

@Oluchiisxn I would not trust that guy after that smug smirk he gave at the end when the verdict was read

Flesh and Blood first There’s a right way…. Your car got missing a year ago, but someone found it for 12 months, used it , snapped photos with it, went on dates and family picnics, made memories, helped you to even change the tyres, oils and installed good parts… But because of the close attachment he has with the car , he’s not ready to return it back to you.. it’s entitlement and selfishness coming together to form crazy

@Oluchiisxn That's completely wrong though. There was no reason the biological father couldn't have become part of the kid's life WITHOUT ripping him from the home that raised him

@Oluchiisxn The father did not have that child’s best interest at heart. Smiling in that courtroom tells me everything I need to know. Control freak.

@Oluchiisxn Father was in the wrong here. He wasn’t part of his son’s life for 12 years so can’t just waltz in. He should have had visits and develop a relationship that way. Then let the kid decide he he wants to live with his father. Taking it to court was the worst option.

@Oluchiisxn Bullshit cut the kid in half, that way they can both have him.🤣🤣🤣

@Oluchiisxn This is absolutely the wrong call. Bio dad should have had visitation rights and that is it. For he just committed the same act that was done to him 12 years ago and stole someone else’s kid. Not to mention not even seeking the kid’s input on who he wants to stay with or interact

But he has two other children… so what’s his problem? If not for wickedness. A child you didn’t see for 12 years, who didn’t know you. You want to tell me you have been looking for him for 12 years? Or suddenly you remember you have a child somewhere when you divorced and your ex-wife fought you bitterly for full custody 🙄

@Oluchiisxn I would feel taking him from the adoptive parents would tear him apart. If it were my biological child, I would rather ask for partial custody to get to know the child and spend time with him, to be in his life; to compliment his life rather replace it.

@Oluchiisxn they should’ve made tyler choose for himself:

@Oluchiisxn Children are treated like property in this country and it's abhorrent. Nobody actually gave a damn about that kid. Everyone was asking how the parents felt while completely ignoring the boy. Shit like this happens in real life all the time and it plays out the same way.

Imagine bringing in another child after a bitter custody battle so you already have two boys who have gone through a family trauma and now you are adding a third, the same age as one of the existing children. The social dynamic between those three boys has the potential to be insanely toxic and abusive even if the abuse doesn’t come from the bio father. The “I would have never abandoned him” line is weird since he had two women pregnant at the same time. The marriage might not survive that.

@Oluchiisxn A good father puts the needs of the child first, uprooting this kid and forcing him to live among strangers isn't what's best for him. Its what makes you feel good

@Oluchiisxn Here’s the IRL inspiration for the story, and its worse:

@Oluchiisxn Well, if I were Tyler, he can be my dad from a distance.

@Oluchiisxn That’s sad, the biological father has a responsibility to do everything to ease the situation

@Oluchiisxn The judge did the cooks wrong and she did not act in the best interest of Tyler If she had she would have taken Tyler's opinion under consideration It is obvious from what I could see the father doesn't truly care about raising a healthy son he cares about winning and that's all.

@Oluchiisxn Then he proceeded to treat him badly, this movie is so sad

@Oluchiisxn People in comments are funny… Imagine you lose your biological child, then find him years later… think about how bad you’d want him back. lol.

@Oluchiisxn I lived through this My little sister, her bio father wanted to adopt her. I was old enough to tell my bio dad “no” Her dad was deemed “minimally adequate” They knew he was an active gang member, had a long criminal history, and lived in a city my sister NEVER visited.

@Oluchiisxn Most of y’all are not smart Now the court did the right thing morally and legally After the court order what I will do as the biological is built a relationship with the adopted parent as it’s obvious Tyler love them too

@Oluchiisxn That man just inherited an angry child... He is in for a lot of trouble

@Oluchiisxn @Jayysein “Where are your manners, come in” COME IN???? wtf lmao.

@Oluchiisxn A loving biological father would ask the son what he wants and ask the loving family to work together for the benefit of his son. Fatherhood is so much more than DNA.
