Owning MSTR means owning whatever is left after every other claim gets paid, which is not the same as owning Bitcoin "Financial engineering does not eliminate the need for cash flow, it rearranges claims on future capital. Strategy will survive precisely because it is Strategy. That does not mean its model was broadly repeatable" "When you own Bitcoin directly, you own Bitcoin. There's no management team, preferred dividend, convertible debt or senior shareholders standing between you and the asset" "When you own common stock at a treasury company, you own the residual value remaining after the company satisfies every claim ahead of you. That residual can be extremely valuable, but it is not Bitcoin"
