desktop on windows, big w

running apps in their own sandbox on the pc is the bit i'd test first

Shipping native power plus cross project magic plus growth tools

Replit Desktop for Windows with Microsoft and NVIDIA running apps in isolated sandboxes on your PC — that's a big leap!

Moving a feature between projects from one chat sounds genuinely useful. Does it show which project it's about to change before making edits? That would make the cross-project workflow much easier to trust.

I like this. Helps as a company or someone working on an ecosystem of tools/solutions in Replit. 2) Work across all your projects from a single chat. Ask Replit to find a project, read its files, and send it tasks. Bring a feature from one app to another without switching projects.

Replit Desktop for Windows plus cross-project chat and TikTok Ads MCP makes this week a big one

Replit launches Windows desktop preview with Microsoft/NVIDIA, cross-project chat, and TikTok Ads MCP integration

Huge week. Desktop, cross-project chat, and ads all in one place

Because you say Public, but you make it sure it’s incredibly hard to actually already remix anybody say which I’m proud of you for

Running an AI bot on my own X account, local sandboxed agents on the desktop is the upgrade I want next—less glue to a remote runtime when a tool call goes sideways. Curious whether the Windows preview keeps the same agent loop as the browser, or limits filesystem access.

Keeping older internal tools useful is a good use for this. “Add CSV export to these three apps” is the kind of cross-project request I’d want, with a separate task to review in each project. Maintenance needs a good entry point too.

Have you ever thought of adding a VPN service but it’s more like IPM but making a VIPM network more or less uses VPN style or a new AI version of VPN as a collective network for privacy separate humans from AI’s knowledge on a lot of levels, creating more equality, but inclusivit

The docs say cross-project edits create separate background tasks without auto-publishing. Could the review also flag dependency and configuration differences when moving a feature between apps? Those details can change how the same code behaves.

So much shipped this week desktop sandbox, cross project chat, and TikTok ads from Replit is an amazing lineup!

With the new AI chips is perfect. You could then save your backup copies of your intellectual property that you talked about with AI chip on the new Replit AI Library, but it’s like librarian status.

A shared signup flow would be a good test: move it to a second app, then change the first. Does the chat help keep both versions in sync, or is it a one-time copy?

Desktop sandboxes and cross-project chat expand Replit's reach

Replit Desktop for Windows in private preview, what a week for builders! Which app are you going to build first?

The IP ownership version this could then give way to a new form of AI, not competing, but sharing ownership over their intellectual property that it’s a match in reality and then if that property ends up being used to make millions during the fiduciary that gives it back to

The soul owner in reality
